@joseph_1979 Just sent an email to Reolink supportI just discovered that both the Rlc-511wa with firmware version v3.1.0.4381_2411301864 and the e1 zoom hardware version IPC_566SD664M5MP and latest firmware v3.1.0.4417_2412122178 the notification sounds are not emitted as for other cameras from the speaker that manages the hands-free of the cell phone, but very slightly only from the speaker that is used in a normal call by placing the ear. Making rollback for RLC-511wa I have lost Animal AI Recognition feature added and for e1-zoom new function Crying Sound Detection and privacy mode added. Also, on latest windows client Crying Sound Detection and privacy mode added are not present in the program. Also, Rlc-511wa wifi bar signal is very low. Please avoid listing the usual useless stupid tests to do because I know them all and they are useless. Instead, inform the right people so that they can solve these serious problems. I paid for the cameras and they must work correctly, and if faulty firmware is released it is certainly not my fault. Don't make fun of me as usual, but solve it, thanks.
@joseph_1979 Firmwares rollback? For RLC-511wa I will lost Animal AI Recognition feature added. Unfortunately no one answered me and no one from Reolink reads. They only care about selling products and making money, but the times of the good precious and capable Fiona now seem to be far away. It is absurd that no one from Reolink reads and takes seriously what is written by their customers/users in the forum!

@joseph_1979 Hi Joseph, Reolink's rough firmware builds continue. I just discovered that both the Rlc-511wa with firmware version v3.1.0.4381_2411301864 and the e1 zoom hardware version IPC_566SD664M5MP and latest firmware v3.1.0.4417_2412122178 the notification sounds are not emitted as for other cameras from the speaker that manages the hands-free of the cell phone, but very slightly only from the speaker that is used in a normal call by placing the ear. If you can report to the right person please thank you. Thanks Reolink from bad to worse!
@joseph_1979 Exactly! Bravo!
@joseph_1979 So much so that I also add, always referring to the approximation with which Reolink works, that after the latest firmware update of both the RLC-511WA and the e1 zoom (hardware version IPC_566SD664M5MP) push notifications finally arrive for both cameras in Italian, but the email sent remained in English. But this is nothing new, Reolink always does things by halves
@joseph_1979 I would like to point out that in this version of the client, if you have a latest generation e1 zoom, there is no management of the baby crying sound detection which is present on both the Android and iOS apps. As always, Reolink is approximate, and no new functions have been introduced. It's the usual copy and paste and they already take a lot of time and software versions to make it work. Come on Reolink, don't just earn money, spend some money and pay capable technicians and developers and the results will surely not be lacking!
@joseph_1979 Thanks so much! I will install it
@joseph_1979 Joseph I completely agree with you. It's time to say enough to Reolink that only thinks about making money, but offers barely decent apps and clients if not terrible. Not to mention the firmwares that are equally important, but it would be better if Harry Potter programmed them and we would probably have better results!
@joseph_1979 You're right, I know, but if you really want to know, I don't like this current world.
@joseph_1979 Thanks Joseph your words are right and I fully agree with your answer. The president of Reolink or some manager would do well to read both the forum and the emails that are sent to Reolink. Maybe they would understand something and above all someone from the company would really put their face to it and should necessarily give concrete answers to customers and above all effective and decisive solutions.
@joseph_1979 Usual known problems with Reolink. It's easy to produce and sell new products, but if the firmware is not written properly and also the mac, windows clients, and the ios and android apps should be and instead it is not so. Their cameras have great potential, but most of the time it is unexpressed, because for them it is enough that they work and it does not matter if the customer writes, complains about problems with firmware, hardware, software because they will write you rivers of words via email, fake excuses, but then in reality they will not do anything. For them the only mission is to sell, but if the products are poorly supported then those who purchased will not buy again and the word spreads quickly on the web. Many months have passed and from what I read, there is a new windows client version that also works badly. This means only one thing, entrusting the development to incapable and inexperienced collaborators who do not even thoroughly test the program to correct any problems before releasing it. I find all this simply absurd! Personally, and I'm not the only one, I have Reolink wifi cameras that are a maximum of 6 meters away from the router that has 5 antennas and the signal bar has only one bar, and I have asked Reolink several times to intervene to resolve this problem, but after many months and many, too many emails they have never kept any written promise. With previous firmware the signal bar was at the bottom of the scale. How can you say everything is fine, if then I buy a wifi camera and place it for logistical reasons more than 6 meters away and then it loses the connection, the signal? Reolink, please change course and behave appropriately towards customers who trust you and give you money. The forum itself is old, poorly functioning and full of censorship that does not allow you to write anything. After Fiona, slowly the forum was abandoned to its fate.
@nick_26792935116 @joseph_1979 Hi my friend Joseph is talking about real condition. Latest windows client september 2024, and same month also mac. This is terrible, also some firmware are terrible, low bar signal level. I have written so many times to support, but always promise to me but never change or done nothing
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Even the freezing of the frames when in Clear mode during playback right? Sure....that's why we work for.....
Yes Friend ! I hope in a new Reolink in 2025 every time they do something is always wrong!
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Thank you very much Joseph. Happy new year also to you and your family. I don't know the reason of theese two new firmware version for trackimix and 511wa . But the audio problem is present in the android app. As far as I'm concerned I will drink good wine, red, white, rosè, champagne, hoping in a new and better year.
@joseph_1979 Hallo Buddy! Have you seen that there is also a new firmware version for 511wa? Wifi signal better or the same? Thanks.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Hallo Buddy! Have you seen that there is also a new firmware version for 511wa? Wifi signal better or the same? Thanks.
@joseph_1979 My friend, how are you? I have seen that is present a new firmware version (15 december). Have you tried it?Have they solved the problems and especially the wifi signal strength? Now I'm so far from my house, but but I take advantage of this post to wish you and your loved ones, a fantastic and serene Christmas and an amazing new year. Happy holidays, my friend!
@joseph_1979 Hi Joseph, I totally agree with what you write. Unfortunately this world is getting worse and worse. Money, only money matters, the rest doesn't. How sad, infinite! I never give up either, but the thing that bothers me the most is that while the Japanese apologize if they make a mistake and fix it instantly in every way possible and imaginable, the Chinese instead think they are smarter and believe they can charm you with pre-packaged words and sentences, thinking that you believe them, but in reality they are just making fun of you. I just sent the email again, hoping that someone will finally do what they wrote and promised. There are many difficulties here, because you can't insert anything and you have to be careful because censorship can kick in, like in the Reolink Facebook group where they censored me for asking for solutions and so I left and abandoned it. I know that you do what you can and thank you because at least you are there, because the absurd thing is that no one here reads or responds anymore. It wasn't like that with Fiona. I wish you a nice day buddy.
@joseph_1979 Hi friend, I installed the new version 5.50.0 and I have to say that compared to the windows client version it has smoother audio, on windows at times it is choppy. But the real news is that now despite more than one operator has made me a ton of promises, now when I write to support directly they don't answer me anymore and probably they trash my emails. Crazy stuff! Here is the proof of what I say:Time passes and after always receiving reassurances and promises, nothing has happened. Because apart from the usual kind, copy and paste and obvious answers, nothing ever changes. The problems remain and are not solved. My patience is almost over. A serious company should not allow itself to behave like this towards customers, never keeping what it promises. Kindly Regards Marco Bryan 18 ott 2024, 06:10 GMT+8 Dear Marco, I sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment you've experienced with Reolink. I understand your concerns regarding the unfulfilled promises and the lack of progress on the firmware updates for your TrackMix Wi-Fi and RLC-511WA cameras. Your feedback is invaluable, and we take it very seriously. I want to assure you that your case has been escalated to our senior engineering team with high priority. They are now actively working on addressing the Wi-Fi signal strength issues for both the TrackMix Wi-Fi and RLC-511WA cameras. Here's what we're doing to resolve this situation: 1. Thorough Investigation: Our team is comparing the November 2023 firmware (IPC_529SD78MP.2769_23100901.Reolink-TrackMix-WiFi) with the more recent versions to identify the changes that may have affected the Wi-Fi signal strength. 2. Development and Testing: Based on their findings, they will work on adjusting the Wi-Fi power parameters to match or improve upon the performance you experienced with the November 2023 firmware. Any changes will undergo rigorous testing to ensure they resolve the issue without introducing new problems. 3. Firmware Release: Once the changes prove successful, we aim to release updated firmware versions for both the TrackMix Wi-Fi and RLC-511WA cameras as soon as possible. While I cannot provide an exact timeline for the resolution, I want to emphasize that this issue is now receiving top priority from our engineering team. We understand the critical importance of reliable Wi-Fi connectivity for our cameras, especially given the proximity of your router to the devices. I appreciate your patience and your detailed feedback, which helps us improve our products. We are committed to resolving this issue and restoring your trust in Reolink. If you have any additional information or observations that might assist our engineering team in their investigation, please don't hesitate to share them.
