@joseph_1979 - Installed DirectX12 from MS as per Support.. (Can't believe ReoLink went this route to use DirectX12 that is from June2010!). Then Installed v8.11 and guess what, still the problems exists. Replied to Support and guess what, they went silent and not heard a word from them. I am really starting to feel ReoLink took the wrong route in their updates..

Question.. What does "Optimize network connection effect" mean? Also, it suggests we Reset Configuration. Can someone please give the reason why if these are just bug fixes? What Bug Fixes were implemented cause I don't see any changes when the cameras updated..

For me, this one went the wrong way. Does not work with my Nvidia Card! Going back to 8.10. At least I know the work-arounds.

@big_ted - The 823A has had numerous firmwares since it has been out. I am not a moderator and even I know that. However, it has been taken off the drop-down for whatever reason. Been back and forth with email support and they told me there was no v3.1.0.2217 even though all my cameras got the push! It took 5 emails back and forth before I got the information I needed and guess what, it is still missing off the website.

Does anyone know what Font is used for the OSD when streaming Clear? I have been trying to find a matching font and had no luck. This is on RLC-811 and RLC-823. Thanks!

@joseph_1979 - I have talked to ReoLink Support and gave them access to my cameras, they can't replicate the issue. I have been through so many hoops with Support, I am about ready to rip out all of my ReoLink Cameras and burn them! Reolink support has been useless.

I was given this work-around for the PTZ controls and it worked (have to do it each time you re-open the app):

"Please try to drag the camera out of the Liveview window and drag its device name back to Liveview again or re-add the camera to Reolink Client."

@railfan-arizona_485965826351268 In the TrackMix the Zoom icon is no longer being avialable in the dualview screen. One has to go to single view to use the zoom function. Senior Support notified.

The issue is... RLC823a DO NOT SHOW the PTZ or Talk Controls where the TrackMix does! ReoLink really screwed up this time.

FYI: 8.10.4 has the same issue as 8.10.3 with the lose of Talk and PTZ controls.

Thanks to Reolink not testing their software and the moderators on here have no clue how to fix things since ReoLink can't give them the tools or resources to help. I wish I never invested so much into this company. When I can, I will be switching all my cameras to something better with less issues!

Broke mine and now I lost all my remote cameras! You are a FAKE!

I installed the old 8.8.5 client, and all my cameras on remote sites are still missing, but still show up on the latest update without the PTZ controls.

So I removed the PTZ camera and re-added it and then all functions are back. Seems to me the client did not detect the correct camera model when first loaded. So deleting and re-adding the device seem to fix the controls.

Checked this morning. On one RLC-823A all the functions are there.. On another RLC-823A since this update, missing some of the functions.. Same Firmware and Hardware... This makes no sense!

8.8.5 is a 32 bit application and this is not deleted when upgrading to 8.10.3. Just run the reolink.exe in C:\Program Files (x86) but you have to add each camera using the UID as the configuration is placed in a different location.

Horrible, Now I have to add 15 cameras that are at remote sites IF I want to go back cause of the mess up from ReoLink.. Poor Customer Service and QA.

Just got this update this evening, and PTZ controls are missing for RLC-823A, however, they show for the Reolink TrackMix Only..

@reolink-fiona - When I installed the Beta, I noticed that the tool bar on the bottom of the PTZ (823a) cameras is missing, however, it is there when you hover your cursor in the area it should be.
