1) MQTT support!2) Webhooks API 3) ONVIF Profile-T two-way audio support Then people can integrate your cameras into their home automation and if features are missing people can add them themselves. For example, the above comment about rich notifications can already be done but not so effectively.
@reolink-fiona this sucks. It's much easier to implement MQTT than an entirely new API that uses webhooks. Then other people still have to update their apps to support your new API. With MQTT your camera becomes compatible with a ton of home automation stuff already out there (HA, Blueiris etc). Most of your cameras are targeted toward advanced users (The average person doesn't even know what POE is, they just buy a Nest or Wyze). It would be nice if we could use our cameras how we want and MQTT allows that. I guess we can all go and request it here: https://community.reolink.com/topic/4308/get-to-know-your-customers-day-tell-us-what-you-want and maybe someone will listen to us
@user_630032533872721_630032533872721 plus one on this. We would be able to integrate the doorbell with Blue Iris, Scrypted, Home Assistant etc.
+1 on this. Imagine the sales you guys can get if you do this API and have official integration with Home Assistant. I will switch back to using you guys as I need 8 more cameras.
Maybe we can just add MQTT to their "tell us what you want thread" https://community.reolink.com/topic/4308/get-to-know-your-customers-day-tell-us-what-you-want we just need to all upvote it, I already added it as a request
@extreme_590650728796222 +1 on this. I just got the doorbell today, it's great but I would love to get the door ding notification through api.
@houseverstand_832583649177767 you can set up ftp or an sd card and that will do what you want. You can also connect the cameras to unfi protect but you will need to set up UniFi Protect Proxy this will allow you to connect non-UniFi cameras to UniFi protect
