@reolink-lorenz that will be quite a pain if i have to reset all. Can you confirm why I need to do this?p.s. I can now access the camera on different WIFI networks and 4G - Thanks
@ivan_488740454707352 I would suggest re-crimping the RJ45 plugs again. Do none of the pins show as connected on the tester? it should show an LED for each leg of the wires. It is highly unlikely that they are all broken/high resistance. The other possibility if they are all showing as above, is that the cable is cut/rat chewed! Not knowing the set up as well, check the panel and plugs at that end.... is there possibly another intermediate connection box? Jumping on, i have just installed the same beta for my RLC 511WA and albeit it worked, it moved all of the privacy spots set up. Easy to fix..... but just thought I would mention it if Reolink see this

I suffer from spider intrusions regularly and have tried all the potions available on the market to help repel them, but within days (sometimes minutes and hours) they are back practising their acrobatics and tight rope walking creating massive white blobs on my monitor!Having tried various potions, I tried a couple of things that seemed to eradicate spiders by 95% for 2-4 weeks.....
I spray it on the top of the camera housing and back mount. My cameras are wall mounted and slightly pitched down. For obvious reasons, spiders avoid it. Like most things, after time and weathering, it wears off and the good old bright white blob walking back and forth on the screen reminds me to go and spray again! (just a liberal coating, not dripping!).I probably won't win any environmental awards....but it works! Tip of the day.... When applying, hold a bit of scrunched up kitchen roll over the front (lens area) to avoid any wandering spray getting on it, otherwise a 30 second operation becomes 10 minutes trying to remove the smears!
@crimp-on_62210811129 Hi, Yes correct, normal run of the mill operations should mean you don't need to port forward. I only started doing this when I ran into external connection issues. Both the RLC-410-WS and my new 511-WA were connected using the UID via the QR code on the camera housing. The camera is connected to an external network hard drive for recording.Tazzy
Good folk..... if you could help I had been using a WIFI 410 for years. It worked fine and I can access app on my phone providing I was on the same network or on 4G. But not another WIFI network.I recently upgraded to the RLC-511WA, and can access this via the app on the network it is connected to, but not any other WIFI network or 4G.I have a router with WIFI disabled. I have enabled UPnP and also manually other ports associated with cameras. Removed security, added it etc.... nothing works. I have a mesh system connected to router and have forwarded ports etc in that also. I also have an independent mesh system connected to router for 'other' thing, so only CCTV is Mesh 'A'. Randomly (approx.1 in 100) the CCTV will work on another WIFI network, but then fails to connect for the other 99 times.I have no other issues with any other gadget connected to any of the mesh's or router....just the Reolink Camera. I believe I have tried every setting possible and followed Reolink guide for this issue but nothing has worked. I'm sure it is user error but it is evading my knowledge!Any ideas?TIATazzy
@reolink-lorenz Great - would be great to see an update based on user experiences
I have recently upgraded my RLC-410WS to the 511WA, and it is amazing. So many features and tweaks available, but the most impressive (and purpose of such a thing) is the video quality. Even on the default settings for fluent, it knocks the spots of the highest setting on my previous camera. So my only gripe and reason for coming here is:There is a setting for the spotlights to either be 'off', 'auto', or 'on as scheduled'. My system records 24/7, not just motion, and if you set it to 'on as scheduled', the light is on permanently during the set hours. Obviously, if it is set to 'auto', it comes on when it senses motion. Both are great, but due to the location, I want the light to be motion activated, but only between certain hours... at the moment it is one or other. So that explains what I want to do, but is this forum monitored by reolink, or do they have a suggestions box anywhere for future updates? Thought i would ask here before using a generic contact email...oh.....and Happy New Year!!!Thanks,Tazzy
