Hi,If I've understood the current setup in the client for Spotlight, there is a Night Mode configuration which has 3 settings, Off/Auto/On as scheduled, which I have it set to Auto. In this instance, the spotlight should auto turn on when an alarm event is triggered (person and vehicle detection ticked). For some strange reason, the spotlight never comes on for me when motion is detected. I'm not sure how "Night Mode" is defined, so maybe I'm missing something, but it could be dark during late evening, like it is now, 5pm and it's pitch black, it could be 1am in the morning, but still no spot light coming on when motion any is detected in my detection zone. The camera tracks as expected but no spotlight. Is there something obvious I'm missing? any help appreciated.Model - RLC-823ABuild Number - RLC-823AHardware Number - IPC_523128M8MPConfig Version - v3.1.0.0Firmware Version - v3.1.0.1584_22120968_v1.0.0.30
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Just checking if there's any indication when this feature may make a release for us to test
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Thanks for your reply. I do have a lamp post, not directly outside my house, but outside my next door neighbours, which does shed some light onto my driveway so you may be right in that the camera thinks there is adequate lighting and so the spotlight never comes on. I don't see the IR lights on either, even at 1am... I'd still rather prefer to have the spotlight come on as it's quite handy lighting up the whole driveway, which the spotlight on the camera does very well when I manually flip the spotlight on.I'm assuming this would have to be some sort of feature request to allow overriding whatever the camera is doing to determine adequate lighting in the case of auto turning spot light on and off based on motion detection...
