Where to install the 360° Reolink Fisheye? Here are recommended Positions
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Just checking if there's any indication when this feature may make a release for us to test
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 there isn't much of a dark area around where I want the camera to be... any way to put in a feature request to allow an option to bypass the min/max ambient light level level for the spotlight to turn on or make the values configurable so they can come on if the value is changed from default for said setting?
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Thanks for your reply. I do have a lamp post, not directly outside my house, but outside my next door neighbours, which does shed some light onto my driveway so you may be right in that the camera thinks there is adequate lighting and so the spotlight never comes on. I don't see the IR lights on either, even at 1am... I'd still rather prefer to have the spotlight come on as it's quite handy lighting up the whole driveway, which the spotlight on the camera does very well when I manually flip the spotlight on.I'm assuming this would have to be some sort of feature request to allow overriding whatever the camera is doing to determine adequate lighting in the case of auto turning spot light on and off based on motion detection...
Hi,If I've understood the current setup in the client for Spotlight, there is a Night Mode configuration which has 3 settings, Off/Auto/On as scheduled, which I have it set to Auto. In this instance, the spotlight should auto turn on when an alarm event is triggered (person and vehicle detection ticked). For some strange reason, the spotlight never comes on for me when motion is detected. I'm not sure how "Night Mode" is defined, so maybe I'm missing something, but it could be dark during late evening, like it is now, 5pm and it's pitch black, it could be 1am in the morning, but still no spot light coming on when motion any is detected in my detection zone. The camera tracks as expected but no spotlight. Is there something obvious I'm missing? any help appreciated.Model - RLC-823ABuild Number - RLC-823AHardware Number - IPC_523128M8MPConfig Version - v126.96.36.199Firmware Version - v188.8.131.524_22120968_v184.108.40.206
Finally, a version of the app that works on my Microsoft Surface Pro X without showing me a black screen on launch. I did have to turn on "Hardware Decoding First" as the stream from my RLC-823A was pixelating and freezing randomly. Thank you for fixing the black screen issue.
