I can confirm that the version .06 "fix" does not fix the issues created from .05.
1. Still do not receive any push notifications,
2. Still experience a clipped view when rotating phone from vertical to horizontal (most times, not all)
3. PIR button is still too small to see
Also noticed that when turning ON or OFF PIR from within camera setting page, when you back out to the list of camera's page, the PIR button does not reflect the setting you just made.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

Thank you for the feedback. Could you please tell me your phone model and system info of your phone? -
@reolink-fiona Same issue with notifications sort of.
What I'm noticing.
Reolink PC client does not have the option to enable/disable "Push" notifications like the Record, Email, FTP, and Siren options in the PC client. We only have the ability to select the type of Push notification and the schedule. Not sure if that is new or always been a design choice.
Testing:
Action: set push schedule and push notification type on all cameras via Reolink NVR using the Reolink PC client 8.7.1, (remotely)
Result: Individual camera accessed directly from Camera's IP was not showing the correct push notification settings, set above.
Result: Android app version 4.29.0.6, was not showing the push notifications enabled any individual camera
Result: Android app version 4.29.0.6, is showing push notifications enabled under the "group" NVR camera list.
End result: no notifications.
Action: individually enable push notifications on each camera in the Android app version 4.29.0.6
Result: Push notifications worked for each camera.
End result: worked as expected.
Expectations: All programs should sync. A change on any specific device or program( pc or mobile) should migrate to other devices/programs.

Hello Fiona,
Phone model is Samsung Galaxy A51, model # SM-S515DL
Running Android 11
Update: After removing Reolink app v4.29.0.6 and restoring v4.28.0.8 (the last good working app),
I was able to gain push notifications back by "Restoring" camera by going to "Settings>Advanced>Restore" and going thru the initialize process again.
I then had to reset all my camera settings including turning on "push" setting because it defaults to OFF.
Everything seems stable now as it was before the .0.6 update.
Another poster ,Dugan, also confirmed that Restore was suggested by tech support.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

Thank you for your update on the troubleshooting. We will continue to look at this push notification issue.

App crashes so many times when i use the playback function on my Samsung phone and tablet. Very annoying.
-
Is someone using the 4.29.06 version without any problems?
-
Faasio, I reverted back to version 4.28.0.8 and needed to "restore" my camera's. I'm not having any problems so far using this older version app. I didn't have any success with 4.29.0.6 version.
I'm sticking with 4.28, I don't think it's worth the aggravation to update. You don't get any newer features with the update that make any significant difference in my opinion.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@starfish21_37513982370005 : Thank you for your reply.
I will stick to 4.28 version too. Not really happy with it, but it's better then the newest version. -
@faasio82_480971996033257 Hi there, for the playback issue, you can try this APP, 4.29.08, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XAf2yupksuHDuBPv8xm_w4HAxCiIoGp6/view?usp=sharing.
