Can I switch my 8 cameras on quickly if they are in Scheduled Off mode?

Hi, so I have 8 Argus Eco’s on solar and they work great. I have them scheduled off during the day as I’m home a lot. Is there a way I can enable them easily if I go out? I’ve tried setting up an all on mode but it doesn’t override the schedule. If it did then just defaulted back to schedule at the next time, that would be perfect. I really don’t want to have to go through the schedule menu to enable/disable every time I go out.

You can try to use the scene mode to set the home/away mode. When you slip down the device homepage on the APP, you can see the settings. @reolink-fiona thank you but the Scene mode doesn’t appear to over ride the Scheduled off. Should it because that work be perfect?

I was looking for the same thing and found this thread.
I think what they are saying is to leave the schedule "always on", and just use scenes to activate/deactivate (correct me if wrong).
It would be quite useful to have the possibility to ignore the schedule completely and have push or recording on/off independently.
Arlo do that for instance with their cameras where you can set mode as always on (Armed), always off (Disarmed), or as per Schedule.

@seb_526812765704330 Your suggestion of using just the scene mode is really counterintuitive to the whole schedule option. I don’t want to have to turn the cameras on and off every day hence why they have the schedule option. I want the schedule to happily do it’s thing and I just want to easily override the schedule when I go out. Can’t be that hard and I’m very surprised others aren’t wanting this as well.

If they just made the scene mode override the current schedule, that would be perfect. I could set an all on when I go out and it simply defaults back to the schedule at the next event.

I totally agree with you, it's not "my solution", it's what I understand Reolink support is telling you, but I may be wrong.

The scene mode can only activate the push notification. But whether it will give you push notifications depends on your schedule.

If you have enabled the push schedule at that time and enabled the push notification in scene mode, it will give you the push.
If you have disabled the push schedule at that time and enabled the push notification in scene mode, it will not give you the push.

@reolink-fiona this is the problem. Scenario: I have the schedule in place to turn off cameras during the day. I am going away for the weekend and now want to enable the cameras 24hrs. I have to go into the 8 cameras and physically turn off the schedule for the 7 days. I then have to go in and enable the 8 cameras when I get home. Even if I go out for the day and want the cameras on I have to do this crazy amount of work. Extremely time consuming and frustrating.

Even a simple off button on the schedule would be great. That way I still have to turn on and off 8 cameras but at least it’s a simple button, not highlighting the time, enable, disable and the 7 days. Please make this suggestion in a future update. We need a simple control for turning the schedule on and off otherwise the schedule is really useless for a customer like myself. Thank-you.

Edit: I’m actually referring to the camera recoding as opposed to push notification although I obviously want both. Recording motion is more important.

@reolink-fiona thank-you, appreciated. I hope you have success as there has obviously been a lot of development around the scheduling function and have a simple way one button way to temporarily turn the schedule on or off would make it an almost perfect solution.
