I have 22 Reo cameras of which 8 are 510A's. My existing 22 Reo's all show on my Windows 10 Reo desktop app. I purchased 2 new 510A through Amazon and neither are found by the desktop app. I have reset to factory both cameras. I was able to find one of the cameras using the Android app. Using the android app I was able to get an IP for the camera and manually connect through Chrome. I use Blue Iris as my NVR and since I can't change the H.264 Profile to "baseline" BI doesn't find the camera. My POE sw is 802.3af.
Can I change to baseline in the android app and how?
Why do the new cameras NOT show up in Windows Reo App? Too many cameras?
Any suggestions?Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

Do you add the cameras via UID? You can also try to connect your camera with another cable.
Unlike the previous version client( V7.2.2.20 or V7.2.2.33), the new Client ( Version: 8.1.20 or the beta version) doesn't have the quantity limits of cameras or NVRs. That's to say you can add as many as you like to this version of Client. For the previous version client, the quantity is limited to 32.
The RLC-510A only supports H.264. If you failed to find the camera in Blue Iris, it might be because the network ports haven't been enabled. It is default disabled with the v3.1.0764 or later firmware version. Please find it via network setting->Advanced->network ports. This can be done via the browser.

@reolink-fiona I just realized I was using a client version from 2018
Once I DL the new client version I could get the new cameras connected using UID easily! Thanks Fiona
and @crimp-on_62210811129.
To get the new 510A's to show up in Blue Iris though I had to go into setting-->network-->advanced-->port settings(setup)-->
activate RTSP Port AND make sure ONVIF was on too and port matched Blue Iris.
RTSP was off by default in my case for the NEW 510A'a!

I have only 8 cameras, all of which show on the Windows client. The 'split' control in the lower right provides patterns for 10, 13, 14, 16, 25, 32, 36 cameras, so I am pretty certain that 10 cameras should be 'no problem'.
Are all of the cameras in the same IP subnet?Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

Yes, all 20+ working Reo's are on the same subnet. The client app does show 6-8 unused "slots" for more cameras which makes me think I still have more room for adds (I could be very wrong assuming this too) .
RLC-510A no show in desktop app
