So I updated the firmware on my cameras (RLK16-810B8-A) RLC-810A cameras and I noticed a setting that I hadn't noticed before. It might have been there but I think it was added. Anyway I don't know what it does and I could not fid an explanation anywhere.
It's under Camera->Display->Imafe Settings->Advanced and it's called "Spotlight Mode".
Can anyone educate me on this setting please?
Thank youReply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@reocam_448003255267488 sure its an 810A? I run one standalone, but can't seem to find the setting you described here.

@breit2001_513813039153374 I'm running in on an NVR. It's in the settings there where I see it.

the one of mine is running on its own. You might investigate to see if there is a bug in the NVR software. Because the 810A only has IR LEDs, spotlight mode may be ineffective. word finder

"spotlight mode" of NVR refers to the "color night mode" of pc client, and you select "Color" of "Night/Day" of NVR, you can adjust the WDR at night.
Ofcource IR LED of RLC-810A dose not light.
1. select "Color" of "Night/Day"
2. select "manual" of "Spotlight mode"
3. adjust "Highlights" and "Shadows"
New setting: Spotlight Mode?
