@reocam_448003255267488 you can add the 820A to your system just fine. The only difference is it being a turret form instead of a bullet.
As for the mounts; I have both an 810A and 820A running here, both are holding up perfectly fine. Not sure how yours failed, but it might be one that had a defect or something.
Edit: there is no fastening system on the 820A. So anyone could rotate it if its within reach. But if it's strategically positioned, I wouldn't mind that. Guess it's not such a big deal either since the 810A can just be rotated away too using a bit of force.

More advanced spotlight activation settings
Hello there,
For cameras that have spotlights (like the new trackmix), it would be nice to be able to have the spotlights only come on when motion happens in a specific zone, and not have them come on when motion occurs in a different zone (but still have the camera record). So, like this;
Zone 1: record and activate spotlight
Zone 2: record, but dont activate spotlight
Zone 3: dont do anything -
RE: Rich notification for iOS?
@jedi2020_32727772450952 We will have rich notification for the doorbell wifi first. Then it is planned to apply to other cameras later.
Will this be without a cloud subscription? Since the cloud is not available here and neither do I really want another subscription - its even part of the reason I bought Reolink

RE: What does this Symbol mean?
@reolink-fiona quick question; how do you unlink these? One of my RLC-511's is still showing this symbol after I linked and unlinked it from Google Home. Also seems slower to load than my other cams now.

RE: RLC 823A crashes when it rains
@user_596011330842664_596011330842664 did you properly protect the cable tree from the elements? Especially the reset key, as to what you mentioned, it sounds like water is shorting it out causing it to reset.
Fyi: doesnt have to be difficult to cover the reset key and power port; electrical tape does the trick. -
RE: Argus 2E problems
@user_596316400607322_596316400607322 try switching the camera on or off. There's a switch behind a flap somewhere on the cam. Probably on the bottom. Don't own one myself so can't exactly tell you but that's a first step you could try.
The batteries could have ran out as well. Are you using their solar panel? -
RE: E1 Outdoor power?
@martinbarrett_533327547867360 as of my reply today, you are right. Only models indicating they're PoE actually have it.
Not a problem for me since I'd buy those wifi cams to actually use over wifi (with the exception of the E1 Pro that I have, since its literally next to the router I just plugged in an ethernet cord). Your best bet for an outdoor PTZ would be the Trackmix (more compact) or the 823A (dedicated optics for zoom) if you want PoE. -
RE: Rich notification for iOS?
@reolink-fiona well yes, but even *if* I wanted to subscribe, it's not available where I live (EU) - hence I asked

RE: E1 Outdoor power?
@martinbarrett_533327547867360 you could use a PoE splitter, so you only need to run 1 cable if you wish to use it without wifi.
You do need a place to store said splitter though as those are not water resistant. A simple (water-resistant) electrical box will do for that. -

RE: New setting: Spotlight Mode?
@reocam_448003255267488 oh, then I don't know. Mine is running standalone and it's not present in the webinterface. Maybe its a bug in the NVR software, who knows. As the 810A only has IR leds that spotlight mode probably doesn't do anything either.

RE: Disable network blue blink light
@breit2001_513813039153374 this is what i've done. But yes, this is not really elegant... @Reolink-Fiona Reolink should add an option to disable this blinking light
Though a black piece of that tape you'd use on electrical wires (forgot the name for it) wouldn't really be obvious.
Deals with the problem too. Still not the most elegant solution but at least it's not as obvious as a gray piece of tape. -
