@jedi2020_32727772450952 We will have rich notification for the doorbell wifi first. Then it is planned to apply to other cameras later.

Will this be without a cloud subscription? Since the cloud is not available here and neither do I really want another subscription - its even part of the reason I bought Reolink

@breit2001_513813039153374 It may need to subscribe via Cloud. It is in the upgraded Cloud plan.

@reolink-fiona well yes, but even *if* I wanted to subscribe, it's not available where I live (EU) - hence I asked

@reolink-fiona For the doorbell, I see its only the WiFi version that will have rich notifications. This is going to be hard to decide either POE or WiFi since I can do either. I would like POE but I do want the rich notifications. So my question is when you say "Then it is planned to apply to other cameras later", what cameras will get it. Will the POE doorbell have rich notifications and when? How about the B400 cameras?

Only the wifi doorbell can support the rich notification now. We don't have a plan for the PoE doorbell currently. The main reason is the high cost of the notification feature. We have evaluated this feature many times because of the high demand. But we can't make it available for all the models because of the high cost. We have tried our best to make it available for the wifi doorbell. Thank you for your understanding! -
@reolink-fiona Please reply here if that decision ever changes! I was about to pre-order the PoE doorbell as I'm moving away from WiFi devices, but knowing Rich Notifications aren't in the plans has made me cancel for now.

@jaiknight_591730776215561 Hi there, sorry that only the wifi doorbell supports the rich notification. The PoE doorbell doesn't support it. It may not change in a short time. I will let you know if there is any news.

@reolink-fiona this is surprising and also a dealbreaker for me.
I want the reliability of poe and will not get the wifi model. I also want rich notifications and shouldn’t have to pick between features and stability.
reolink have shot themselves in the foot here. I won’t be getting either model now. Hopefully commonsense prevails and this decision changed. -
@chris_276522566795470 I agree.
