Hi out there,
I am using above cameras with firmware v3.1.0.764_21121707. It is connected to Openhab using the ipcamera binding and ONVIF interface on port 8000.
Works very well. I can stream video and motion detection events from the camera are reported to Openhab.
After upgrading to v3.1.0.956 ONVIF causes the RLC-811A to reboot every 4 min. Both cameras do not report any motion events anymore.
As soon as ONVIF is disabled on the RLC-811A is stable again.
Has anybody seen similar behaviour?Reply QuoteShare1- Share this Post

@dooidinho_536542971248850 No solution found. I simply do not upgrade and stayed with the old version.

The RLC-811a has a newer v3.1.0.989 firmware available.
It may fix that issue if you havent seen it yet.

Stuck in the same situation..... if this isn't addressed immediately, i will be forced to return these cameras. I guess I lose the installation expenditures
-
The same situation for me, RLC-822A on firmware v3.1.0.989_22081907.
Whenever ONVIF is activated and used (via openHAB's IpCamera binding), the camera will reboot every 2 to 10 minutes.
The only solution seems to be not using ONVIF - and thus not getting motion detection in openHAB in my case.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

Hello, i'm encountering also a problem with my 811a and my NVR
RLC-811A FW version v3.1.0.1892_23031702
NVR: RLN8-410 FW version v3.3.0.226_23031632
When i activate in "server settings" the mode RTSP and ONVIF to connect my third parts ip cameras to the NVR, the NVR recognize and stream the camera, but the android app can not connect anymore to the NVR. As soon as i desactive RTSP and ONVIF from the NVR settings, everything is back on the app. What can be the problem ? -
