      Hello,

I would like to know why I cannot upgrade the RLC-820A with the last firmware with pet detection.

I have 6 reolink cameras and only one is with firmware v3.1.
I do this post because I have this situation more than one year.
      Screenshot attached.

      Thank you

@andré-figueiredo_360727197077756 Are these cams part of a KIT? Are these connected to an NVR? If yes then you need to upgrade them though the NVR.

I once had similar problems with a different type of camera. In my case it helped to reset the camera password to blank and retry. You might want to try that.

@m-schleemann_394877180510344 What does the password have to do with this update problem?

@andré-figueiredo_360727197077756 Have you downloaded the recent firmware from the Reolink download center? Then use the Windows client to upgrade.

                      No I didn't.
I only use the "Check for the Lastest Version" button and the response is "This is the most current version available"

                      Should I upgrade it manually?

@andré-figueiredo The upgrade function on the camera and application hasn't been implemented. Go to the Reolink download center and check the firmware of your camera. If the camera is not in the drop down list, then email Reolink support and quote the HW version of the camera(s).

I download the firmware and now I have all the cameras updated! 😀

@andré-figueiredo You're welcome. Occasionally check for any firmware upgrade by visiting the download center

You are going to be dissatisfied due to the fact that the E1 Outdoor specifications are straightforward. The power supply is 12 volts DC, which is different from Power over Ethernet (PoE), which is more than 44 volts. The Ethernet jack is not a PoE jack; rather, it is designed to be used during initial setup, which is a feature that is commonly found on Reolink cameras. uno online
