I have the wifi doorbell and I noticed a day ago that it stopped sending alerts. I reset the doorbell and re added it to the Android app and then adjusted the sensivitivity in all directions and still no notifications.
If I push the test notifications it works fine and so does the chime. I have uninstalled the app and re installed again and still same issue. I can stand in front of the doorbell and wave and dance around and get nothing.
I used to get rich notifications but now cant even get a normal motion detection on it.
Has anyone else had the issue. I am using the latest Android App version 4.36Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@grahamscomputers_73909861070 Try to restore the camera. By restoring, the factory setting will be restored with the exception of the WIFI configuration. Restore can be done from the Android client.

I have done all that, its so frustrating and unfortunatly its now coming out and going back for a refund it is only around 5 days old.
I have had no support from Reolink on it. They have always been great and fixing issues but seem to have washed their hands of this one. -

Same problem here on my samsung A52. I am so frustrated about this issue. Thought that in the end there is finally a suitable doorbell with all the options you need. Not knowing that a functionallity like a popup notification on a phone is missing which imho is the first functionallity you think about having a doorbell. Tried everything without results. No notification on a locked or unlocked screen.
For the fun i installed the app on another Samsung. The Samsung S22. Same results. Nokia 7.2 same result.
But believe it or not i tried it on an Iphone 12 and there are notification popup on locked and unlock screens after pressing the doorbell.
Seems that nobody has a suitable solution. There are a dozen of possible solutions you can find on the net but i tried them all without results.
Other functionallities like a notification (sound and vision) on my Nest Hub and sound on my Nest mini's is in my opinion also a lack of functionallity but that can be solved in HomeAssistant which works great.
I hope that Reolink comes with a solution for this irritating issue -
@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Can you unbound it from the cloud and restore the doorbell camera? Then try the simple push message notification.

Sorry i meant a restore not a reboot -
@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Hope you have notification allowed for Reolink client on your Samsung.
Tap Settings > Notifications on your smartphone, and then tap Reolink App to allow notifications.
Do you have recorded clips? Do you store them on SD, the cloud or the NVR? -
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318
On the Samsung phone the notfication is "On". That was the first thing i checked on the phone side. I even reset the app presets for all my apps on my phone which i regret that i did this. Not only it makes no sense but untill today i face the consequences for that action.
Yes i store data (record is "On" and notification is "On" but only for visitors. The footage is first stored on a 64Gb sd card and with a TFP session copied to my Synology NAS. I don't use a NVR where i can store the data for a couple of months.

@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 Just the cache and data of the Reolink client you had to delete. Don't touch anything else. Can you activate any motion and person under RECORD and the same detection types under Push Notification and check that you receive the PMN? Don't forget to save settings.

Hello,
It's getting confusing.
Record is ON and Push Notification is ON. They always were ON
In Record --> Schema : ALL was checked and as you asked i put Person and Visitor also to ON
In Push Notification : Only Visitor was on and as you asked i put ALL and Person also to ON
Now i get a popup (reolink logo) when there is movent and also when some one rings the doorbell. But only on a unlocked screen on the phone. A locked screen stays black when someone is pushing the doorbell

@user_620089981972582_620089981972582 On your Android, go to Settings and click on Notifications. Scroll down and click on Notifications (lock Screen). Enable it and check again.
