We repeatedly have to do some work on our home yard, plowing snow or moving lawn and so on. As we typically walk back and forth in front of our cameras for hours, we get frustrated by constant app alarms. Then as a solution we switch the alarms off but after the work is done, typically forget to reactivate them.It could be super useful to set new scenes that would snooze the alerts for a certain period. Let's say paused for 1h at a time until the work is done. This would increase security, as we won't forget our alerts off for the night.Kind Regards, Aki
The notification banner that pops up on your phone Lock Screen swipe the banner left then option to mute for hour or that day after a hour it sends notifications again you don’t need to do anything really good idea I think I use it all the time
This is my problem too. I sometimes get, what i call friendly activity, in the monitored area. Typically family and friends...I currently solve this by drawing a privacy mask rectangle in the area - the reason is that not only camera records Person activities, but it also uploads it to the ftp server. So by drawing a privacy mask I reduce a number of recordings on sd card and network data for upload. It also has other benefits too - sd card is not overwriting older data (so I can "see" more than just a few days history) and also it gives the friendly people their privacy. On the other hand I deal with same problem - I sometimes forget to remove privacy mask. If Reolink would make privacy mask with timer (5 min, 20 min, 60min, 6hrs, infinity, etc...) that would solve my problems. Not in a fancy way, but it would help.
A snooze button would be great to stop push notifications when you are running around the house triggering your own cameras. The built in snooze functions on android are not easily accessable. On Samsung this feature first need to be activated, so first you need to know about that... Ive created scenarios for this now and its working good exept i constantly forget to arm the push notification scene again when im done outside. So a snooze button for a selected period of time in the app would be very userfriendly.
