In the latest 'update your firmware' email:
Hi,I am too keen to know how to use this feature. From what I understand, this is a FIRMWARE release, so it should be the web-based feature.A few screenshots of how to use this feature would be appreciated.
Hi,The feature of fast-forward needs the upgrade of firmware as well as update of Reolink Client (to be released recently). Please kindly wait for a few days and stay tuned by our newsletters.Thank you for your support for Reolink.
I have fast forward working with firmware upgrade for RLC-411S camera's integrated sd-card 1x/2x/4x/8x/16x - speeds work perfectly with Reolink client. Can you tell me if it has also been implemented to work with Reolink NVR? Seems to be missing in the software. The feature would be very useful as I'm sure many would not use NVR in the same room because of fan noise so use Windows client instead.
Yes. NVR can also support fast forward and slow forward when you playback videos. On the monitor of NVR, you may go to opration menu and click om Search on the left side to search for the video you want to replyback. When it's replaying, you'll see some icons on the bottom of the screen. You'll see fast forward and slow forward there by putting the cursor on those icons.
Hello Lisa, I only see 'pause', 'stop', 'single frame forward' buttons in Windows Reolink client software. I need fast forward in Reolink software in Windows 10 on my PC via camera PoE to NVR to router, not by NVR HDMI to monitor connection.
Yes, correct. Sorry for the mistake I made! I thought you were going to review it on the monitor attached to NVR. So I told you your requirement could be achieved. We are not able to do that on Reolink windows client. Sorry about that!
Any update or plans to move forward with a fast-forward option when reviewing playback on the windows client?
