the Solar Panel (SP) 1 (3W) can't keep the Duo charged (dies after 3-4 weeks). Perhaps too much activity is killing it...and limited sun due to trees). I was going to replace the 3W Solar Panel with the new 6W solar Panel 2. But since I will have the two solar panels, I can buy a micro usb splitter and connect both the 3W (SP1) and 6W (SP2) to the camera. The voltage will be the same (~6V) but I will have more current (~1.5A) and thus more Watts (9W theoretically).
Q1: Anyone else have issues with keeping DUO charged with SP1?
Q2: Any reason why connecting two solar panels to one camera (with USB splitter) would NOT work?

      Thanks
      Paul

Connecting two solar panels, the 3W (SP1) and the new 6W (SP2), to the camera with a micro USB splitter should work in theory. Ensure the splitter is compatible with your camera and solar panels, and consider the camera's maximum input capacity

@paul_321739826311380 Sorry for the late reply, Paul. If your Duo camera doesn't work anymore, you may contact our support team for further help.

And we don't recommend that you use two solar panels together to power up a camera as extra DIY work will be required. Hope this helps.

@paul_321739826311380 The 3.2W solar provides a charging current of 530mA and the 6W panel provides 960mA. I think there is a current limit which is shutting down the charging. Is there a way to move it another 4.5m (add an extension) away to have more sunlight?
