      Our new App now compatible with folding screen devices and has features optimizations!
      Download now on Google Play and the App Store for a better experience.
      Note: The App adopts a grayscale release strategy so that the update time will differ in different regions. Simply meaning that it takes some time to arrive in your app store.

      What's new:
      1. Compatible with folding screen devices (Android version only)
      We heard that many users were looking for improvements on foldable devices, so we made it! Plus, we'll keep enhancing the App UI for foldable devices.

      3.  Auto-save the last display setting for the Fisheye camera

          @reolinkshayla my thoughts on this new version of the app for Android is:

          REOLINK DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!


          because if they did then app wouldn't be in Landscape when viewing live view & Playback which cant get out of Landscape view on my tablet even when i have !my tablet locked on portrait. I even turned the portrait lock off so my screen automatically changes witch still doesn't get out of landscape for live view & Playback. now cant send the preinstalled voice messages. also NOT EVERYONE LIKES OR WANTS LANDSCAPE VIEW!!!!


          removed this app from playstore and add older version before this version NOW!!

            @reolinkshayla I discovered 2 bugs on the android application. The first concerns the email sending setting. The sender name field is not present (very important if you have multiple cameras to better distinguish the emails received) and the other is the impossibility of deleting the timelapse from the appropriate section of the app. The only system that works is formatting the micro SD. My app version is 4.41.0.4.2023

              @mamymam2013_465350299701478 I do not recall entering the camera name in the email setup. You shall receive Alarm from Camera Name in the email title.

                @joseph_1979 In windows client is possible email setup menu in italian is "Nome mittente" in english i think Name of the sender or similary. I have seen also that today is disposable new windows client version  8.14.0. Do you have test it?

                  @mamymam2013_465350299701478 This is not available on the Android application but available on the Windows client. But when you receive the email you the title of the email includes the name of the camera.

                  I have upgraded to v8.14.0 but had to revert back to v8..12.1 because the icon controls are no longer available. I will report it.

                    @joseph_1979 Thank you. But Reolink never test before publish. I'm a litte tired. I use 8.8.4 because each new version is always a disaster! On Android app you see immediatly the cam, but not on windows client. Reolink must solve also this.

                      @mamymam2013_465350299701478 Penso di si ma che cosa puo' far!! I am on v8.12.1 and working fine for me. But I saw people who reverted to v8.11.0 which seems to be more stable. Note that 8.8.4 is a 32 bit client and Reolink are no longer compiling their client for 32bit OS.

                        @joseph_1979 I know that is a 32 bit client but is only one stable where I can choose kind of quality stream, and then client memorize it. Other version each cam you must change and don't stay on memory. I don't knoe why Reolink must decide for me! Other new version I have test it but has always the problem of can't choose quality strem and also receive signal of the cam is not immediatly. So much people write about it but Reolink don't solve.

                          Completely agree with this.
                          Being suck in landscape on a tablet is utter BS.
                          Who in the right mind thought this would be a great idea?

                          It makes looking though achieves more difficult, as now you need to navigate though folders on the left side and have no time bars.
                          RESTORE the old functionality please.
                          On a large screen i prefer having my playback on portrait, because i have a LARGER screen.
                          I do not need an obnoxiously larger image on a larger screen tablet stuck in landscape.

                          Or give us the option to go back to the older version.

                            @mamymam2013_465350299701478 This is the case when you view the camera remotely whereby the customers will be using the AWS/Azure P2P Relay servers. This service is not free and bandwidth comes at a cost.so there is a tradeoff. This seems to be forced from 8.8.5 onwards.

                              @reolinkshayla Reolink you have no clue what your doing. Stick with just making devices and then open source the devices code and app code so actual things will work and features that should have been in place but not can be done by open source community or just get out of the business all together because you have shown us time and time again you don't know what your doing!!!

                                      Hi Joseph, now following your advice I am trying the v8.11.0 version exactly as you recommended. Unfortunately, based on their choice, the low quality of vision can be changed, but it does not remain stored unless the camera is on the same network. In any case Reolink should think that many users like me have a 28 inch 4k monitor and the low quality on a professional monitor of this type is terrible. I understand that they want to eliminate any slowdowns or problems, but allowing the user to choose and possibly change it to his liking should not be a problem for Reolink to insert this setting. Yesterday I did not understand that problem you refer to the new version of the Windows client that Reolink has published, but did not report.What to say, excellent products, but poor software. Imagine that to have an updated firmware (a 511wa) I had to write to support because they themselves told me they were sorry because often what is available for download is not always updated on the site as it should be.

                                        @mamymam2013_465350299701478 I fully understand you and it should be left to the customer to chose what he/she wants. It only works when the PC running the client and the cameras are on the same network. We have been telling them to change but so far nothing changed.

                                        And yes the website is sometimes not updated and fw are sometimes provided to individuals. If there is fw then it should be avilable to all. Every 3 months I email support to see if there is any newer fw for my models. It shouldn't be like this. This should be like other brands where the application prompts the user that there is a fw update on any of the connected cameras. Hope they will adopt this method.

                                              @joseph_1979 Joseph, thank you. I hope that sooner or later they will be convinced that it is right to include this quality choice option. If you can, you who have direct contacts, ask again, or at least we can open a post where those who want this option vote for it and perhaps then Reolink will be forced to comply. You didn't tell me the reason why you recommended version 8.11 but advised against version 8.14 for the moment. You told me about an icon problem, but I didn't understand.

                                                @mamymam2013_465350299701478 Version 8.12.1 has an issue of slow connection and sometimes disconnects the session and this has not showed up on v8.11.0. Yesterday they made v8.14.0 available on their website and when I upgraded the control icons were not visible. I did some attempts but to no avail. However, there are customers who manage to run v8.14.0 without any issue esp on Win11.

So far was not able to get the control icons visible. So I have something on my notebook which is somehow impacting the display. I recently updated the java.

                                                        @reolinkshayla latest version is awful ! Forcing landscape mode is annoying, particularly as it doesn't recognise upside down landscape so view is presented upside down and tablet has to be rotated 180degrees. Should auto rotate to any orientation like the previous version.
                                                        View quality defaults back to low res requiring clear to be reselected on every live view and every playback view.
                                                        Cannot find a way to playback just motion events.

                                                          4.41 unusable, raised a support request and got a link to install 4.40 now able to view in portrait and see motion events again. Hopefully 4.42 will be of better quality

                                                            Why did you remove the portrait mode? You should let the user decide (through option settings) if they want portrait or the new enforced landscape!

                                                            If you cannot afford a QA/tester many of us are willing to test beta relese for you for free!!

                                                                      On the Reolink Doorbell there still doesn't seem to be an option to have a separate notification tone when someone presses the doorbell button, or even better receive a video call.....are there any plans to add something soon as the doorbell is almost useless despite being a great bit of hardware.

But didn't hear anything. However, the best option is to originate a call as being done by their competitor

                                                                            @tonyht and probably never will as reolink doesn't know what they are doing. this feature was said to be in 4.40 yet it wasn't. they keep promising so new buyers dont return b4 30 days. then after the promise and nothing and want to get refund they use the excuse of sorry past 30 days.

                                                                            Seems to be enabled only in one of my two cameras on RLC823A

                                                                                @drealine_329342379503810 It takes some time for the application to show Motion Mark on all the cameras. This happened to me on my Android appl. Maybe you can delete it and add it through UID. Have no idea what's the condition implemented on their application to add this feature for the camera.
