Any news on webhooks?

An update a few months ago dangled the possibility of cameras (and, hopefully, NVRs!) getting the ability to make an HTTPS (that is, web) request to a custom URL when an AI event triggers.

This would be incredibly useful for my home automation. Is there any news on this?

It seems to be available now on some devices like my Reolink Doorbell.

I already created a Go server around it, which retrieves the Webhooks triggers from Reolink.
