Hey Reolinkers!
I've updated my ReoLink client to latest version from October 2023.
The new client is showing all my cams in the left menu but i have no chance to get the Live View - I ve also disconnected them all, restartet but the problem is still there.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem may cause?
PS: My cams are at a totally different adress/network and i connect them via UID.
But i did not change anything in the setup which was running for almost 2 years without any connection problems?!Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@martin-zihr_324858974884035 Try to disable hw acceleration first. If not then roll back to your previous version until they sort it out. You can contact support.

I am an IT professional and test software for my company. I am also experiencing the same issue. After several rounds of testing, including updating to the new software, uninstalling it and then re-installing the earlier version multiple times, these are my results:- On my ASUS/Windows 10 Professional laptop running version 8.8.5, all cameras display properly.
- After updating my new DELL/Windows 11 Home laptop to the latest version 8.14.0, NO cameras display properly. Each camera field displays a spinning icon.
- After uninstalling the latest version 8.14.0, then re-installing version 8.8.5, NO cameras display properly. Each camera field displays a spinning icon.
- On my iPhone running the mobile client app version 4.41.1.1, all cameras display properly.
My cameras are implemented utilizing a combination of wired, wireless NVR, and UID connections. Unfortunately, the latest Reolink Windows Client software version appears to have introduced a substantial bug affecting Windows environments. This issue should be given top priority towards a quick and effective resolution. -
@user_760619332706489_760619332706489 Did you solve it yet?

@user_760899788079304_760899788079304 There is v8.14.2. Try it. I have upgraded mine and the missing icons bar and better video quality at Clear mode seem to have been resolved.

@joseph_1979 Thanks Joseph for the information. I've updated to latest Version v8.14.2. but my cameras still not work ;/ When i open Reolink first after installation i am asked about firewall handling. Ofc i allow everything. Ive also tested it shortly with deactivated Firewall/Defender - There seems to be a bigger issue with external Cameras ;/

Hi,
I have the same issue after updating to the new client app. I am running on a Macbook. I have tried the reboot, UID, IP connection and nothing works. Updated NVR, all cameras. It seems there is a problem with App->NVR->camera path. I have a wireless Argus and the app can connect to it. The NVR is hooked up to a monitor and all the cameras look fine and operate as expected via the NVR. -
Similar problem here, on two different laptops. I discovered that earlier versions of the client were still showing up in my list of apps, so I uninstalled them, and uninstalled the new version on each, then re-installed the new version from scratch. It found the cameras and NVR on the local network OK, but I had to input each of their passwords. So far, so good.
Since Client App Update 23.10.2023 no LIVE-VIEW!?
