I recently bought and installed the Reolink doorbell POE white version and can't get the package detection to work. It is not an option in "detection type". I have tried it on the app, the NVR screen and the web client on PC. I have updated the firmware to the latest version. v3.0.0.3308_2408051176, then v3.0.0.41102410111128. All it did was adding "vehicle" to the detection type. And moving it back to x1176 again, which removed the "vehicle" from detection type list. Searching online, all I see is people wanting this function to be added to the black version doorbell. Nobody seems to be saying it is actually working on their white version doorbell. Did the latest firmware remove the function?

@joseph_1979 That's the first thing I did. They were the one to suggest that I downgrade the firmware from x1128 to x1176. Anyway the question is not to ask for addition of this function. I bought the white version specifically because the function is already there. But I can't seem to make it work. I am now asking the community to see if anyone has it working.

I can only see package detection in the app, not on the windows client too and it does work. I have doorbell battery though.
Also confirm with support you have the right firmware as there was an issue with some people putting the wrong doorbell firmware on.
one was a standalone and one I believe for hub/HVR connected.

@big_ted does vehicle detection work for you? it isn't for me (WiFi black)

what I don't get is why don't they just add all detections in all doorbells (I'm really getting tired of this crap @reolink I WANTVA GOD DAMN FULL REFUND)

I have the black battery now, everything works fine, no issue including vehicle detection.
my previous black POE doorbell had people detection fine, but mine wasnt in an area to detect anything else.
There can be hardware, software limitations or even a combination for each feature to roll out.
The black wifi with the latest firmware has vehicle detection, but being a doorbell, may not have as long detection range
                  as other cameras.
Overall i have no issue with any of my cameras, and I have over 15 running at present of a range of models.
Ensure your camera is updated to the latest firmware, but also make sure its the right firmware as there is differences based on hardware, or if connected to the HVR/HUB.
