      Hi,

I have a RLC-811A from last year and all three resolutions show the same image extent. Now I bought another RLC-811A and suddenly only the highest resolution (3840x2160) shows the full extent, the other resolutions only crop from the original. This way, the camera is useless for me. Why is Reolink doing this and why is this not mentioned in the specs? Same is with the RLC-842A and RLC-843A.

      Regards,
      Chris

I had the same issue when I got the RLC-811A a few years ago, and that was fixed by a Firmware update. Now the new RLC-823S2 does this same thing and the audio is very distorted, however, ReoLink Support has been useless on these topics. I remembered when Support would go above and beyond, now they just follow a script and don't even try to help.

@railfan-arizona_485965826351268 most suppliers outsource their customer care to save money and they do exactly as you stated.

@joseph_1979 How would the typical consumer determine whether a specific company was providing customer support themselves or outsourcing?
