I'd like to have my devices only accessible trough my VPN (e.g. Tailscale) and it would be super helpful to have them directly available as nodes in the VPN.
Can you add support for direct to NVR / HomeHub or even Camera VPN connectivity? It shouldn't add much load on the device and would significantly increase my privacy.

@lafunamor I don't recall any vendor doing this. You need to setup a vpn server at home and use a vpn client to access all your devices at home.

@lafunamor I will add that VPN capability DOES add a bit over overhead as the connection is encrypted.

@joseph_1979 you no longer need to deal with complex server and client setups. Modern VPN solutions are based on WireGurad and are Peer to Peer. Services like Tailscale then add some discovery on top. Overall this is super user friendly and very simple to setup. It also has very little impact on CPU usage, as it very optimized.

@lafunamor They are using embedded Linux BusyBox and it's not that easy. But I tend to agree to have it on HHP and NVR together with a SIP client.

@joseph_1979 shouldn't be an issue. I think it could also be acceptable to just have this on HomeHubs and NVRs.
