      Hello,
I have an Argus3pro and an RLC-510A registered on the HUB1.
The recordings should also be uploaded to an FTP server.
Everything is configured, the test files (txt) arrive on the FTP server from both cameras.
The email notifications are also sent from both cameras.
Only the recordings from the RLC-510A are uploaded, not the Argus3pro.
I thought the recordings were being uploaded from the HUB1, not the camera itself?

      Can anyone help?
      Thank you 😉

All devices have the latest firmware!

@friedhofsblond_74434013315 When you connect the cam to the Home Hub and ftp is enabled on both entities, then the file is uploaded from the camera to the HHP and from the HHP to the ftp server. In fact the ftp server configuration appears on the HHP. Ensure that the Argus 3 Pro is on fw v3.0.0.3951_24081932. If this is not what is installed on your Argus 3 Pro then email support to push you this fw.

            Hello,
I already got the new firmware from support.
I've enabled FTP on the camera and the HHB, but I still can't upload.
The recordings from both cameras are available on the HHB.

How do I do it correctly?
First, fully set up the camera and then add it to the HHB?

Or reset the camera to factory settings and then add it to the HHB and configure it completely there?
            I've now ordered a Reolink 3 Ultra.
I wanted to do everything right.

I think I'll have to start from scratch again.
I am also in contact with support.

@friedhofsblond_74434013315 Fist set the FTP on the HHP and then enable the FTP on the camera. Once camera is bound to the HHP you no longer have to add the IP of the FTP server.

So on the HHP it should look like this

If you do a test and check the logs on the FTP server you shall see (part of the FTP messages)

And from the camera side you shall have

And if one presses test from the camera side, we shall see the following messages on the ftp server.

As FTP server I am using the Cerberus but you can use FileZilla and others. Note that Reolink products don't support SFTP (requires SSH) but plain ftp and FTPS

                @joseph_1979

                Hello Joseph,
                Thanks for your detailed answer.
I've done everything as directed, but the recording upload isn't working.
I can upload the test files (TXT) from the HHP and both cameras to the FTP.
The FTP runs on an AVM Fritzbox and has worked with the RLC-510A for many years without any problems.
OK, I'll reset the Argus 3 next week, maybe that will help.
I hope my new Argus 3ultra arrives then, too.
(What firmware do I need for HHP operation?)

                I have three more questions:

                1. SD card swap:
                I want to swap a 128GB card for a 512GB card in slot 1.
I wanted to copy all the old data from the 128GB card to the 512GB card.
Unfortunately, the db* file is write-protected, and cloning with Acronis doesn't work either.
Or is the db* recreated with the old data?
Is there another option? - or is all data always lost?

                2. Button on the front of the HHP:
                What does the button do?

                3. Smart linking:
Which devices can be linked here?

                I wanted the following:
If camera 1 is recording, then camera 2 will also record.
                Am I making a mistake?

                Thanks for your answers

                  @friedhofsblond_74434013315 You're welcome.

My HHP is on v3.3.0.36924112932. Shortly there will be a new upgrade to integrate the chime of the doorbell.

Did you try to remove it from the HHP and ftp directly from the Argus 3 Pro to the ftp server? At least you know that the FTP works from camera side. I guess you did reboot it right? Resetting won't do much.

                  1. There are two index files which keep information about the files stored on the SD ( one for main and one for sub streams). So you need to copy these files together with the mp4 files. You can download DiskGenius (freeware) and copy the files from the SD onto your HDD. Then from HDD to the new SD. Note that the new SD has to be formatted in FAT32 otherwise the Reolink cam won't be able to read or write in it. Then insert SD on cam and reboot it,
                  2. That's an indicator and a power button. Check here https://reolink.com/product/reolink-home-hub-pro/?srsltid=AfmBOoqoiTsJCaB3-vYvc7sqzNAovts23VrMTnx3BiclqiE4TsYgv2fI#specifications
                  3. Link Devices: This is used to trigger an IoT device upon the camera detects an object. Unfortunately the IoT devices within the Reolink products is limited to the Standalone floodlight. Previously they used to sell smart plugs but they are no longer available. However, you can achieve what you stated through the use of 3rd party applications such as Home Assistant. With this you can automate a lot of tasks. Name it and do it. Check this https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/10918544226585-How-to-Set-Link-Device-s-for-Reolink-IoT-Devices/ . Thank you for your long reply 😉
                    I'm sorry, I misunderstood what I said.
I mean the swap in SD card slot 1 in the HHP.
There are a few files on this card that can be copied to a new SD card.
Except for one file called db...? - it's protected and can't be copied:

                    undefined

I tried it again today - it worked!!
Strange... but it takes a very long time...

                    undefined

It wasn't the adapter's write protection!

When I press the button on the HHP, nothing happens, neither a short press nor a long press.

I have no idea what it does.

@friedhofsblond_74434013315 Good to hear you managed to copy the files. I thought you want to copy from the SD installed on the camera.
