When the video clips are saved to my NAS via FTP, the camera numbers are wrong..
Example: FTP file says, NVR_00_<date><time>.mp4, but it's really NVR_01_<date><time>.mp4.

It would be nice to have the correct camera numbers,, or even better,, have it save the file with the Camera Name.

The cameras are connected directly to the NVR (RLN8-410). No separate POE Switch.
There is no option in the NVR to FTP on a per camera level.
The only option for FTP is On or Off , and a schedule per camera.

@bill-doria Did you check whether you have the most recent fw on the NVR? You can check this from their Reolink Download Center. Ensure that you select the version of your NVR.

Can you set the NVR to generate subfolders by camera name? Inside the folder you should find files with filename camera_name_channel_no_date_time.mp4

@joseph_1979 NVR and Cameras all have the latest firmware.
You can not generate subfolders by camera name via FTP on the NVR.
Plus, if it could, the issue is the camera naming (NVR_00 is really NVR_01, etc), which is the original issue.
I also noticed that if you download video clips the naming is also wrong (ie, NVR-0-Garage, which is really NVR-1-Garage), but at least it has the camera name (garage).

@bill-doria From the channel/channel management, can you check the channel number assigned to the garage camera? I don't have an NVR but rather the Home Hub Pro.

@KimchiGUN Hello buddy. Do you have time to check the filename of the file ftped by the NVR to a remote server?

@joseph_1979 I hope this clarifies it more..
First camera on the NVR is Camera 1. But the FTP file names it 0.
(NVR_00_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_01_20251002011659.mp4)

Second camera on the NVR is Camera 2. But the FTP file names it 1.
(NVR_01_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_02_20251002011659.mp4)

Third camera on the NVR is Camera 3. But the FTP file names it 2.
(NVR_02_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_03_20251002011659.mp4)

Forth camera on the NVR is Camera 4. But the FTP file names it 3.
(NVR_03_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_04_20251002011659.mp4)

This is also the case with Downloading Playback Videos from the NVR.

@bill-doria So camera one is assigned to logical zero and so you get the nvr_00 and camera 2 to logical value 1, so you get nvr_01.
