Is this the right place to give feedback about the client-software beta version?I installed v8.0.5 which IMO is a big step forward compared to the old 7.x branch. Well done.I noticed two things:1) It would be nice if there was a mode where the client's image screen aspect ratio would always correspond to the one of the displayed camera.2) Is there a way to not automatically connect to the cameras on client startup?I am thinking about my battery powered Argus 2 cameras and assume that the connection process puts a strain on the battery (even if not much).
Using 8.05 beta the display has purple and green bands at the top of each camera window and the coulours are all slightly staggered from where they are.Capture.jpg
Where are you guys getting the beta version? I tried looking on the website but still see the old version listed.thanks in advance
Go to https://reolink.com/de/software-and-manual/ and hover over the button that fits your system, e.g. "Download for PC". You'll find the current 7.x-software in 32 and 64 bit and the 8.0.5 beta below.
When setting the detection area it would be great if;a) The detection mask was reversed - shade the area the is NOT being detected, to leave the detected area clear to see.b) show the window full screen rather than just a small window. Also (as mentioned above) how about keeping the aspect ratio the same as the camera instead of stretching the thing to fill the screen? Thanks for the hard work.
I guess they had enough beta testers and next thing will be the public release
Sorry for the inconvenience. Our R&D team is working hard on fixing bugs of the beta version. Hope it will officially meet you guys soon. Any questions, please contact support@reolink.com!
