On July 27, 2025, a severe storm caused damage to our equipment. A lightning strike resulted in the failure of my router, despite it being connected to a surge protector. Upon inspection by the internet service provider, it was confirmed that the router was the source of the issue, necessitating its replacement. Currently, I am experiencing difficulty reconfiguring one of my security cameras. It is mounted 12 feet above ground on a wooden post, making it inaccessible for necessary setup procedures. While attempting a factory reset and subsequent configuration, the camera requires a QR code scan, among other actions. I am seeking suggestions for setting up the camera remotely, without the need to climb closer to the device. Removing the post is not a viable solution. It is a Argus PT Ultra which was purchased last summer.Any and all solutions would be greatly appreciated.
