The spotlight will be on when it detects the motion/person/vehicle/pet. You can check if the spotlight is on when it records the alarm video. You can also try not to set the object size.

820a, what is the rstp address for both streams just to double check. they both open but the sub/fluent stream compared to a dahua cam and amcrest doorbell takes 2-3 time longer to open in vlc?
My fluent stream is saved as 7 fps on camera but in vlc media info it says 29.9? bunch of dropped frames too so im thinking its the rtsp output from the cam maybe borked?

You can check the RTSP from the following URL instruction. If you still have problems connecting via the correct URL, you can contact our support team for further check.

              RTSP stream URL:
              1.main stream(H265 encoding type):

              rtsp://(user name):(password)@(ip address):554//h265Preview_(channel number)_main
              or
              rtsp://(user name):(password)@(ip address):554/

              2.main stream (H264 encoding type) :
              rtsp://(user name):(password)@(ip address):554//h264Preview_(channel number)_main
              or
              rtsp://(user name):(password)@(ip address):554/

3.sub stream (sub stream only support h264) :
              rtsp:// (user name) : (password) @ (ip address) :554//h264Preview_(channel number)_sub

Note: The “channel number” starts from 01
              example:
              1.Preview ipc device video
              rtsp://admin:xxxx@192.168.123.145:554//h264Preview_01_main
2.Preview the video of the third channel of nvr
              rtsp://admin:xxxx@192.168.0.206:554//h264Preview_03_main

@nickm_495538090946719 Which camera model do you have? The new firmware is for the cameras with a smart detection feature only.

                  Hi there,

I just realized a difference when using WEB GUI of the cameras with different firmware versions on Android chrome browser.

Both cameras are 510A, one with 764 firmware, one with older 494.
On the 764 firmware the view is distorted, half of the screen is missing, I am not able to make adjustments as I don't see enough. The same happens on the "view" page.

I only tried Android so far, no experience in Windows.

                  Has anyone else experienced this?

                      @kristof
Thank you for your feedback. Our Web Client is not compatible with the phone now, so it may cause a half-screen issue. It is just compatible with the PC web browser. You can try to use Windows or the Reolink phone APP to view the camera.
