@user_630673173327926_630673173327926 Most of smart non-battery cameras with an A in their names, such as 510A and 823A, support AI detection notifications via CGI commands or ONVIF pull-point. You may upgrade your cameras with the latest firmware here: https://reolink.club/3OdJtYA
Also, we are testing some firmware with webhook support. If you have any cameras with an A in their names, feel free to contact our support and try out the webhook feature.

https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/I wrote to reolink support 4 messages to get firmware from webhook. It was only after 4 messages that the senior helpdesk sent me a beta firmware. However, I can't find the webhook option in them. Could you direct me to where I can find this option?

Could you direct me to where I can find this option? My mistake. I was able to find the webhook option on the camera's website. If anyone is looking for it, it is in the "Push" tab.
I am very sorry for the confusion and problem. -
@reolink-lorenz Do you know when this new firmware will be available i have three RLC-820A IPC_523128M8MP and the lates version is v3.1.0.956_22041501 Apr. 18, 2022 Updated ?

It would be really nice to have a new Firmware with working support for ONVIF protocol, RTSP stream and such things so we can integrate the Battery related cameras as nicely as the not battery powered. So many people want to get security Cameras but don't want to do so much wiring and for that your solar Power Cameras are perfect. When they will be integrated into third Party Home automation. I am just sending my Argus back because I can not integrate it into Home Assistant. The Camera is pretty nice and perfect for my needs but can't connect it to my home automation and because I don't want that much different apps on my smartphone your good Camera is out of the race because of your Software

@user_727993210269845_727993210269845 Well RTSP entails for a constant stream and so producing one from a wireless camera requires the feed 24/7. The solar panel don't produce enough power to run a continuously transmitting camera. But even though the solar panel did produce enough power to run during the day, then you need a high capacity battery to having run during the night. And this comes at a cost.

@joseph_1979 I don't understand the Reolink Wi-Fi Cameras not being able to do smart detection. My 4-year-old Ring Stickup Wi-Fi with solar charger does intelligent detection in user-defined zones.

@t-maciek_382830390239374 That's the one included in the download center. I suggest you to submit your request to Reolink support.

I notice that the latest firmware for 520-A cameras have a webhook option. Frustratingly ( i mean *really* frustratingly) - you can enter the webhook url, test it - but NOT actually SAVE it. YOu hit the slider to save it, back out, go back in and its disabled again. This is ball achingly annoying.
-
is there any news on the missing feature to hit a http/https page when motion is detected?
Maybe Reolink does not want to include this as tis might influence their sales on accessories such as spotlights. But Reolink maybe does not understand that this is needed for successful full integration into the smart home and is by far more as just a spotlight.
Really hope @Reolink that this webhook feature will be released soon i.e. as another option directly under the "Push" option menu within the app. -
Just wanted to say I’ve been looking for the same feature, and it’s really frustrating that nothing seems to have changed in over two years. Seamless integration of different devices is standard these days. Just to put it in perspective, even my 12-year-old camera has this feature. I find it hard to believe that you still can’t define webhooks.
Can you confirm if this is still not supported? If so, I’ll likely have to return my cameras. To be fair, it was my mistake not to check beforehand, but I didn’t expect such a fundamental feature to be missing.
Best regards,
Alex
