      I have some comments regarding the Client and App for the RLC-823A Camera:

      Windows Client:
      PTZ pushing plus / minus doesn't work. Same applies for manual focus, plus/minus buttons doesn't work. It is close to impossible to use the slider and obtain a good manual focus. Suggestion: Add selection of manual/auto focus and also a force auto button in manual mode.

      iOS App: Pan is moving the camera in far too big steps. Either make the pan control proportional like an analog joystick or make it possible to adjust step size.

      RLC-823A: Focus is sometimes painfully slow. There must be something you can do with the focus algorithm I hope.

        I agree with everything you said, well stated.

        RLC-823A Camera:
        I would also like to add that I’m not sure how to use the Privacy Mask and Detection Zone settings with a PTZ camera. They seem to apply to everything, Guard point, presets, and patrol mode. Once they are setup for a certain view, they become useless and need to change anytime you switch to use a different view (like a different Preset). Maybe they should only be applied to the Guard point, or have setups for each preset.

        And I agree, it is a nice camera and I hope they’re able to fine tune the firmware more.

            For the Client PTZ control, it is a known issue. We will fix it in Client 8.8. We may also have a beta test in our community. You can stay tuned for our announcement.

            For the PTZ in the IOS APP and the focus, what's your camera firmware version? Have you upgraded to the latest version of firmware? You can download the firmware on our download center, Download Center – Reolink.
