@reolink-fiona It looks stunning. Have a question. What is the detection angle for the PIR?
-
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 The maximum PIR angle is 100°. The maximum PIR detection height is 8m.
-
@reolink-fiona Thanks a lot. Any projection to increase both the PIR angle and detection range?
-
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 We will collect the user feedback first and then we will optimize according to the feedback.

@reolink-fiona Can I just use the DC power cable on the WIFI version without the need for an ethernet cable? Because if I need an ethernet cable I might as well just get the Poe version.
-
@curls Yes, the wifi version can be connected to just WiFi.
-
@reolink-fiona Thank You.

@reolink-fiona
Most generic motion floodlights on the market have the PIR sensor that can cover at least 150 degree. 180 degree PIR sensor is quite common. Many of them have sensitivity adjustment so you can actually shrink the coverage distance. Reolink is a security camera company so I understand it wants to align with a typical security camera view which is about 100 degree. -
@reolink-fiona As a startup its OK but it has to be increased to cover wider angle and longer range.

@reolink-fiona
I might also add that many floodlights on the market can adjust the angle of the PIR sensor. I actually own 3 floodlights. The PIR on them can be swiveled side way and tilt up/down. That makes it very flexible to point at the direction to optimize the motion detection. -
@jedi2020_32727772450952 To add Pan and Tilt
