RLC-823A & RLC-523WA Tracking Beta 4.0 Firmware: Added Auto-tracking Horizontal Range & Schedule
Hello @Reolink-Fiona , I consider it good news to expand the range of dual-lens cameras, but I think that the 12-megapixel cameras that were announced months ago should arrive, or at least report availability on the web (for example: February/23 or June/23).It would also be interesting to plan a dual-lens camera like the RLC 81MA, but in a 12 mpx version. Like an RLC-833A but in a 12-megapixel versionFiona, we need some great news on RLC-1212A and 1224A please. Finally, do you know if the firmware of the RLC-1210A (current 126.96.36.1991) will continue to be updated? I think it is a good camera that I have in service and it gives a very good resolution.
@alvaro2 Many customers are awaiting the roadmap of their products for 2023. Hopefully we will see it soon.
@alvaro2 The megapixel count is not the end of the story. The only thing more megapixels will give you is the ability to enlarge and crop pictures without individual pixels becoming visible. A better lens will always produce better images regardless of the megapixel count.
"a dual-lens camera like the RLC 81MA, but in a 12 mp version"Perhaps, you misunderstand the dual lens camera feature? The purpose of the second telephoto lens is to provide a zoom image without the need to blow up the wide angle lens image. TrackMix camera, for example, has been proven that the 1080P telephoto lens provides a better zoom image than the blow up 4K wide angle image. I'd prefer to get the 2K resolution of the telephoto lens instead of 12MP wide angle lens.
Hi, there. RLC-1212A has arrived at our US/EU warehouse. And RLC-1224A will come soon. Sorry that the firmware of the RLC-1210A will not continue to be updated. You can consider other more powerful 12MP cameras.
