"please make IFTTT function for Reolink Argus 2!
IFTTT or an API for Battery-powered cameras please!"
!
Now a days it is almost mandatory IFTTT or any other management access API.
I consider to increase my cam pool but IFTTT is making me think on different brands.
IFTTT?

Hello,
I'm a new user of Reolink products (6 4K Cams + NVR), still under return period . I like the product's flexibility and the active community. I'm subscribed to the facebook officiel & user groups which are pretty active.
However I feel that Reolink is often ignoring very popular customer demands such as this IFTTT discussion. I was googled for IFTTT and landed here. Same feeling for the movement detection improvements which is another pain I share with the community.
Another sign that Reolink wants the user request to be swept under the carpet is the message above from Cynthia to send the request to an email address? Why? when there is all the history of more than a year under this thread, why the community should sent a mail ? I think I'll return the package and look for a more flexibile & customer oriented company.
Cheers, -
I'm really really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. The R&D people just finished the work of google home and Alexa. They are working on the IFTTT. Hopefully the IFTTT feature will be available in the coming year. Thanks.
-
Haha, they are reusing the same statement as for 2018, 2019 and now 2020.
Which means it will never happen, return your products , I wish I could but I might sell them and buy something more supported instead since reolink is doing 0 useful stuff for us consumers atm.
The google home support is a joke , if we could do anything with the cameras using it it would be useful but now it can barely stream to the TV.
We need 3rd party options to turn on/off the cameras features. -
Sincerely sorry for any trouble caused.
We are working on this step by step to support more features.
Your understanding will be highly appreciated.
Have a nice day. -
one more for IFTTT integration, watching this thread with anticip....ation

Same here, will not buy the product without the IFTTT support. Will stop waiting soon and go for a different product, it‘s a shame. Hearing the same message again and again is not increasing confidence that this will happen at all

Hello,
Still waiting for IFTTT compatibility to etablish scenarios.
For example motion detection, switch on the light.
Do you have a date ? Because it gets long... -
Hi, sorry that we don't have the specific date when it will be available to reolink devices, but we will forward to our R&D team.
They'll see whether we receive similar feedback and put it into schedule. It will take time to evaluate the request and to implement it.
You may subscribe our emails to get the news: https://reolink.us13.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=c0cb1c1b65426a6d9b3609705&id=a9bc53daec.
Thanks for your support of Reolink Product! -
IFTTT please... nowadays it's impossible not to manage cameras with IFTTT...
It's from the beginning of this post (2018) that REOLINK is kidding us... -

Where is IFTTT Support? it is mandatory nowadays.. unfortunately is not so easy to move my system to another brand.... -
+1 på IFTTT, it's a must have these days!
Please speed it up -
Hello Customer, for now, most of the Reolink cameras can support the Google Home and Alexa, surely we will make it compatible with IFTTT, please stay tuned!
-
A way to indirectly use IFTTT is to setup the camera to text your phone or email an O365 account and have something triggered based on that incoming message. This should allow you to create a recipe if it starts recording (ie: turn on the lights if it starts recording). It's not a full integration but it'll help provide some functionally until they bring it into IFTTT properly.

Thanks for your kindly feedback, since we will forward your request to our development team to know, thank you.

Hello,
i am currently using two reolink ip cameras.
i urgently need the webhook when moving.
Instar can also ...
Webook to Smarthome -
ITTF,
First, let me thank you guys for quickly answering my last post.
Why do these 4k Ultra HD cameras have a Power Cord, a Rest Button, and an Ethernet connector if power is provided by the Ethernet connection?
Is the Power Cord used and if so, how?
Is the Reset Button Used (some of my cameras will be very difficult to access) and if so, when? How often? Can a camera reset be done form the computer?
Can I install a router without going through the Modem? Can I still see Locally and remotely the cameras?
Thank you.
