Our engineer is still working on the new firmware to solve this issue, some new firmware has been released but some not, you may contact us via email to get the newest firmware, or you could check the new firmware at this link: https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/sections/360002374874-Firmware.

All the firmware updates (that I know of) are listed on this web page:https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/sections/360002374874-FirmwareI did not see firmware for RLC-423 more recent than March, 2019.The only people who definitely would know are at Reolink support (not this community forum).I email them at support@reolink.com
Will the RLN8-410-E be getting an update for HTML5?
hiFor the firmware for RLC-423, we are still doing the testing, it will be released later. RLN8-410-E will get an update for HTML5, it will be available very soon.
Will the c1-pro be getting html5 support?Or will I need to replace my cameras?
hiPlease kindly send a photo of your camera system information to our support team support@reolink.com, the will help check whether there is a firmware for C1 pro.
Would it be possible to volunteer in testing RLC-423?I've been a daredevil and flahsed it with RLC-420-5MP which works mostly but no PTZ.I see this is our own mistake but I think having the stock/original FW available on the website is still better than an even more invalid one here (IPC_3816M???)Model RLC-420-5MPBuild No.build 20103101Hardware No. IPC_51516M5MConfig Version v3.0.0.0Firmware Version v3.0.0.116_20103101Details IPC_51516M5MS10E1W01100000001
Hello,I'm a software developer and also a DIY camera installer.Few weeks ago, I bought 3 Reolink cameras for my home. I build an entire systems (based on Kubernetes) to record these cameras and also make a live-view of them (with only a unique login who can log-in every cameras at once). But as these old-school cameras still using Flash Player, it's not possible to do anything with them. We can only see them (one by one) via the browser and accept the security risk about Adobe Flash Player who will be definitely die in 31 days. But only on a comupter, smartphone doesn't accept Flash Player! So that means every customer who buy your cameras (enterprises, physical customers, ...) who (try to) use them everyday to secure a home, a work building etc have to replace them.Of course we will have the firmware update before the end of the year (we believe it) but as you don't have any beta-release, that means every users who update the firmware will have a billions of bugs and we have to wait again few months/years to have a fix, if I believe your development plan. Because Flash Player is dead since at least 5 years but you still use it. So that means fixing bug is clearly not a priority for you. We'll have to wait maybe 10 years before a fix.So my opinion about your cameras is that you should stop sell and close your company. It's a shame to wait the last day/month to release a priority firmware like this. And in many countries, it's considered as "planned obsolescence" and you will pay for it.So as a professionnal in Software industry (so I know how it works in background to do firmware/software), I can tell to everybody that you're a not a trust/serious-company and my advice is: do not buy Reolink camera.Hope my advice can help a lot of people!
hi For the request of testing, please kindly contact our support team and they will handle your needs support@reolink.comAnd I'm sincerely sorry for causing trouble to you, all the firmwares are well-tested before they are released, if you encounter any bugs, please kindly report to us and we will responsible for it.
Hi Cynthia, you are totally right, I just reach the support and I'm waiting an answer. But if you reply with the same reactivity for Flash Player, I think I'll have an answer when HTML5 will die too...But sorry I'm working as software developer and it's not possible to never have any bug. So you will have bug.And especially for your kind of company without any serious about the delay. You know since at least 5 years that you shouldn't use Flash Player and you're waiting the final limit to drop it.So I repeat, you will have bugs with new firmware and my opinion still the same for people: do not buy Reolink.
Let me correct about the answer delay.I just receive an answer from your colleague with a new firmware!I'm testing it!
can I get the new firmware for testing for the RLN8-410-E?
Hi, François Honoré! If you meet any problems during the test, please feel free to contact our support.
I've found HTML5-firmware for RLC-410W (IPC_51316M), which looks and works great! However, I'm still missing HTML-5 capable firmware for the E1 Zoom (IPC_515SD6). Can you point me in the right direction, where I can find this firmware?
The newest firmware for the E1 Zoom is not released yet. Please wait for the update.
