The plan is officially releasing the HTML5 before the Google forbids the Flash, which means it could be the end of this year. Please rest assured and you can continue using web browser to watch the cameras by then. Sorry again for the inconvenience caused.

So, it has been 1,154 days since Adobe announced EOL for Flash (July 25, 2017), and only 102 days until EOL (January 1, 2021) and NO RESPONSE from Reolink other than "our engineers are working on it." SOOO, I have three specific questions for Reolink,

            1) Does it really take Reolink engineers this long to enable cameras to work with HTML5?
            2) Why is it that Reolink cannot share any information on work they are doing to date other than the canned answer?
            3) Assuming they are close to an answer (and that's a big assumption) why won't they allow some customers to be beta testers for HTML5?

Yes! I think we'll all be extremely disappointed if Reolink doesn't deliver on HTML5 after promising us this capability and this timeline for the last several years.

Don't worry. Our senior engineers are working day and night to implement it.
We will definitely give a satisfactory solution

Dear Cynthia (or whatever they call the bot that delivers these messages),

The promise of "don't worry (be happy)" doesn't really cut it at this point. Without any REAL details about what you are working on, and the fact that you cannot (or will not) answer any of the detailed questions I've posed, leads me to believe that you don't have an answer. In addition, you've been telling customers for over 2 years the same old story of "our engineers arr working on it" but you cannot say what they've come up with. You cannot even answer if there is even a beta version of what you say will be a "satisfactory solution.

Customers can deal with a certain amount of trust in what you are saying, but the repeated message for over two years lacks integrity and being up front with your customers. I encourage you to be open with your customers or, once the word gets out (if it hasn't already) that you cannot deal with the issue of adobe flash, you going to lose customers.

New firmware for web access without using Adobe Flash Player will be released within 2 months. It takes time to test. Once it is available, we will publish on the Reolink Official Website immediately.

This has nothing to do with the topic, but how about giving us the ability to upgrade the firmware online. Searching for and downloading the file and is so oldschool!
I have some Wyze cams that can upgrade online that way and that is much easier!

I hate to say this, but "released within two months" sounds a lot like "before the end of the year"; a lot of vague response without a lot of detail. It's back to that same mantra of just trust us for three and a half years and we'll meet the deadline. Well you are now down to 91 days out of 1,256 days you've been given to develop this. In other words, you've used up 93% of the time allowed to come up with a solution and the best you've got is "before the end of 2020" that you've been saying since early 2018. No details, no beta code to test, no reassuring messages except "released within two months." By the way, in case you haven't noticed, releasing your code "within two months" in October means you'll have it released by December. Hey, that is the same as saying before the end of the year.

I just bought a Synology Nas and it workes perfect with my cams, but that's not a fix. We are still waiting for HTML5!

HTML5 in Chrome is working great in the RLC-510A I just received from Reolink for evaluation.
There is a new button on the title bar of the window next to the "Center/Stretch" button that allows you to toggle between Flash and HTML5

Hopefully we'll see HTML5 software releases for the older cameras soon.

Any update on that? There's just one month left and no html5 update yet.

On Septemeber 25, you've said that it's available within 2 months.

May I know your camera model?

Currently, we have upgraded the firmware for these camera models.
