I had it set up so these cameras would send email to a server on my LAN, which was working ok at one time. I have noticed that they are no longer doing so. I went to check the schedule and details were set up ok. I saw that although they have a page in the client and app for the email details which you can enter, and a switch for "Enable email alerts", the schedule grid is no longer available - just its heading saying "Schedule". Is it intended that they should not sent emails any longer?
My RLC-410-5MP and RLC-520-5MP cameras show the schedule grid in the Windows Client 8.1.28(see attached screenshot)I do not have any cameras currently set up to sent email alerts. I realize the "slider" shows "on", but the email definition fields are all blank. (no server, user id, password, recipient, etc.)email.jpg
My other cameras have all the fields, it's just my battery cameras that have lost them. Oddly though, soon after posting, one of the battery cameras did actually send an email, but only after we'd got right up in its face waving arms and virtually kissing its little PIR sensor. Maybe it's actually a detection issue. Nonetheless it's a little disconcerting to suddenly lose a control field from the UI
The battery-powered cameras do not have schedule grids in the email setting, since the battery-powered cameras can only send an email when the camera is triggered by the movement. It cannot send an email regularly. For the detection issue, if you want to check if the camera can be triggered, you can enable the Siren and move in front of the camera. When the camera is triggered by the movement, you will hear the Siren rings.
