Windows client version 8.8.4 is no longer opening individual camera feeds to "clear" automatically when maximizing the feed. You had this bug before in a previous version but later fixed it, however unfortunately you brought this bug back again with version 8.8.4.
@user_630727559069699_630727559069699 This is an old problem from a client released a few versions ago but then was corrected. However the issue was brought back again. Lazy programming!
@jedi2020_32727772450952 This is not the problem here, guy. Stop blaming Windows and giving Reolink damn excuses for their lazy code work.
@colin-grimshaw_430254205366491 Hi there, you may need to upgrade your NVR firmware version. You can download the NVR firmware on our download center, Download Center – Reolink.
I agree, I had the same problem with my 810 Camera because my NVR's firmware was out of date. For some reason it had not auto-updated even though the setting was enabled. Once I manually updated the NVR firmware I no longer had this problem.
@reolink-fiona THANK YOU. This did the trick as you recommended. Removed NVR from both my Android Reolink App as well as the Windows Reolink App, re-added them, and channels 7 and 8 are no longer attached to any cameras which are no longer used with my system. Perfect, THANK YOU!
@sverde1_345727230935201 This is an OLD PROBLEM that they fixed not too long ago but then re-introduced in this update. Lazy programming!
@bo-fawzi_444846568546497 Same problem for me as well - if I already have opened and closed the Reolink client, it will not start again until I force close the running instances in task manager on Windows 10.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 We reported this after 8.8.4's release on February 1st and were ignored. What a shame - fail!
8.8.5 still does not default to "clear" when enlarging a specific camera feed. It opens in "balanced" mode still. When closing and re-opening the app it also still fails to remember the user preference.Did you ignore the lengthy thread about all of the user reported bugs from version 8.8.4's release on February 1st??
It's been over 30 days since release on February 1st, what's the news on a revised and repaired revision?
@martin-kistell_73972976554167 China may be on lockdown again or the authorities took "Fiona" away to a reeducation camp.
@campbell_99 Hasn't worked in years!
@bo-fawzi_444846568546497 Same issues in regards to having to go to task manager and force close before I can re-open the client.
@smarthome-wifi_457296088305827 My client doesn't freeze. It closes properly. But still seems to run in the background somehow and prevent itself from running again when I try to re-open it. It never did that before this new release of version 8.8.4.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 If you actually took the time to read all of the comments (rather than shill for Reolink) you'd see that someone posted about the same issue described even before I did.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Sorry to tell you the bad news - This is Reolink's problem. The previous client revision did not exhibit any of these issues that surfaced after updating. Please, don't give them any excuses.
