@colin-grimshaw_430254205366491 Hi there, you may need to upgrade your NVR firmware version. You can download the NVR firmware on our download center, Download Center – Reolink.
I agree, I had the same problem with my 810 Camera because my NVR's firmware was out of date. For some reason it had not auto-updated even though the setting was enabled. Once I manually updated the NVR firmware I no longer had this problem.
@reolink-fiona THANK YOU. This did the trick as you recommended. Removed NVR from both my Android Reolink App as well as the Windows Reolink App, re-added them, and channels 7 and 8 are no longer attached to any cameras which are no longer used with my system. Perfect, THANK YOU!
@bbugaski_390328908112013 Hello?
@bbugaski_390328908112013 Bumping
@reolink-fiona Nice! Now they just need to find a way to accurately have the Windows client actually inform you that there are updates! Often times the client says it is on the latest version when there is an even later version available from the Reolink website.
I noticed that it mentions time-lapse functionality does NOT apply if you use an NVR. That blows.
@crimp-on_62210811129 You are correct, all of the settings are stored either in the cameras themselves or the NVR (if you use an NVR) Using the app on a computer essentially mirrors the functionality of the NVR.
@crimp-on_62210811129 I had a defective camera that Reolink replaced under warranty. When I connected it to the NVR I had the ability to "replace" an existing camera, which is why you see two cameras with the same name (but one is disconnected.)I never used the Windows or Android app to do this, I used a mouse connected directly to the NVR. And in the NVR's view on a television, there is no name for channel 7 and 8 since no cameras are connected.I am also running the latest non-beta versions of the Reolink app on my phone and desktop computer as well.
How am I able to delete a Camera name for an unused camera that is no longer connected to channel #7 I do NOT see any camera name when viewing through the NVR directly, but see this camera name displayed on both the Android app as well as my Windows Desktop app. I have attached a picture. Thanks.
@reolink-fiona What do you mean, what are they saving? Why are they concerned about my internet connection? Every time I switch streams I have to manually change to clear viewing mode. This is annoying and defeats the purpose of having cameras with a good resolution such as my Reolink cameras.
