Yes please!!
@reolink-fiona Why does it say you can't view live the doorbell without an internet connection? I can view all my other Reolink cameras over wifi on the LAN when my internet connection is down. Or at least I could up till now, did something change?
@reolink-fiona Also I'd like to be able to listen to live audio from the camera without first being sent to a separate page in the app to turn on audio recording. Why can't they be two separate options?
@brazoayeye_545249048760515 Is it a Windows PC you're trying to connect the camera directly to? Do you have router software running on it? Or are you/ have you given pc and camera a static IP on the same subnet?
@reolink-fiona Can you please include the latest firmware for the E1 outdoor? Any reason why this has been left out from the drop down list?
Ditto.
@reolink-fiona With the help of support staff suggesting things to try I discovered by trial and error that Lumus cameras allow you to set them with a Static IP, but if you do that, then they cannot work with Google Home. It works ok if you reserve their IP on the router, but leave the cameras as DHCP. This differs from the other cameras in that the battery cameras do not allow you to set a Static IP in the app or client anyway so you can't make that mistake with those - and the others powered cameras such as the E1 range do work with Google when they have a Static IP. I think the difference is that the E1 range offer RTSP ports. So Lumus is kind of caught in the middle. It may make more sense to disable the Static IP setting for Lumus in the app and client.Besides not working with Google, Lumus also cannot be accessed remotely via the app when it has a Static IP set
@talay-fidge_272018732716169 Apparently they don't know yet. Something upset the manufacturing plans I think.
@reolink-fiona I have enabled all my other types of cameras that appear on my app and therefore are connected to my account. Just the 3 Lumus ones that report "Operation failed" each time. The help pages did not make any difference. Except one part says make sure he camera is connected to the internet. I know the camera is connected to my wifi but I have no way of knowing if it connects outside to the internet
@reolink-fiona That's the Amazon Alexa system. My problem is with Google Home
I have E1 pro and E1 outdoor and Argus 2 and Argus 3 connected to Google Home, but my 3 Lumuses fail every time when I try to enable. They are not on the list of excluded cameras for this purpose. Is that an oversight in the documentation?
@john_331308778770565 I am guessing it will be a barrel connector or even just the thin bell wire
Can you pair with more than one Reolink chime? Also does the chime function depend on the cloud connection being up, or can it work locally over LAN wifi?
@reolink-fiona I thought I must have done, because the app doesn't have the option to set up a static IP for a camera, and I didn't have the Windows client at the time. Also I have seen other posts on reddit etc commenting it seems to have gone. It still supports ONVIF doesn't it?
@reolink-fiona Yes I know all that, but I was asking why? Why are you removing features that we once had?
Why have you removed the ability to log into the E1 Pro UI and set a fixed IP on the device? I know it used to exist as I have an E1 Pro with a fixed IP that I set up a long time ago.
I have two Argus2 cameras. One of them is on High sensitivity and you have to get right up in its face and do star jumps before it notices anything. The other is on Low sensitivity and it's picking and recording the feet of people passing on the sidewalk outside, more than 5 metres away, through a small gap in my hedge. I wonder whether I should just swap the location of the cameras, or will they simply swap behaviours?
Where can I find the release notes or changes list for the update I received today, 8.2.6 please?
Mine has now been dispatched, in the UK
That's not what I meant. It says "Notify me when ready" so I can't order it yet. When will it be available to order?
Any ETA for the Argus 3 Pro, in the UK, please?
