To be meaningful, restrictions like this need to be enforced in the stream, not just on the client. Otherwise, someone could reimplement the client and get around the limitation.

An update a few months ago dangled the possibility of cameras (and, hopefully, NVRs!) getting the ability to make an HTTPS (that is, web) request to a custom URL when an AI event triggers.
This would be incredibly useful for my home automation. Is there any news on this?

@reolink-fiona It would be really nice if the firmware itself could validate settings, and highlight things that might need attention after an update.
