@reolink-fiona Ok, I placed my order! Looking forward to receive the cameras. Thanks for all informations.
Another method is to use an addition PoE switch. You can connect the camera under the PoE switch, which is on the same router as the NVR. In this situation, you can connect the camera to the APP/Client and the NVR at the same time. That means you can record and view the video on the HDD on the NVR and can also do setting and view the video in the APP/Client.Sorry Fiona, I didn't understand. I made a diagram:
In this configuration, how can I record the video feed of the TrackMix on the 7th and 8th channels of the NRV ????s
@reolink-fiona Thanks Fiona!"We recommend that you can connect the TrackMix as a standalone camera in the APP"No, not in my case, because I want to record the the surveillance video from the TrackMix on the NVR HDD.Last question.I would prefer to NOT use the app. Can I fully configure the TracMix through the NVR (like I do now with the RLC-410)?
Hi all.I own a RLN8-410-E NVR with 6 RLC-410 connected ,and I would like to complete the setup with 2 additional TrackMix cameras.I already know that my NVR can support the video feed from the TrackMix wide-angle lens only, but at the moment is not a big problem for me (maybe in the future I will buy a more recent NVR).But I have some doubts to be cleared before to procede with the purchase (I still haven't found these informations on the website):1) Using my current NRV, does the wide-angle camera pan-tilt auto-tracking work? (I'm obviously interested in this feature)2) Regarding the energy consumption, can my NRV supply enough power (through the PoE) to 6 RLC-410 + 2 TrackMix?Regards,Riccardo
@reolink-fiona Thank you Fiona. Are PTZ functions supported? (Pan and Tilt)
I have an NVR RLN8-410-E (H3MB16) with v2.0.0.274_20120701 firmware. Are Reolink TrackMix PoE cameras compatible with my NRV (I ask because it seem these cameras require the v.3 firmware)?
Hi Fiona, I own a Reolink NVR and I am also an Home Assistant user. I truly hope that the support team will work on this feature as soon as possible. Thank you in advance
