@reolink-fiona Thank you so much...well appreciated
Happy Holidays to us all!
@firehouse_489264075415780 thanks for the workaround!!!
Beautiful
Try rebooting the camera. My NVR showed green hues today; I couldn't figure out why, then I remembered I unplugged/replugged in the hdmi cord yesterday. That was my culprit...so I turned off my NVR; unplugged/replugged back in the hdmi cord and it worked.
I agree. I've been using this wireless mouse for the past 9 months, love it!
Maybe the firmware on the WD drives need to be formatted or updated.
Oh Derek, mine worked out the box, I just plugged my harddrive into the box, attached the cord to both the esata box and the NVR, and it worked. Then I formatted the harddrives.
Hi derek are you in the USA or another country. The one I purchased on Amazon is for the USA: S351BMU33ET the other is S351BMU33ETG (note the G on the end)
My present NVR software is H3MB16, for my RLN-800 cams. I understand that I will need to upgrade my NVR to a RLN16-410 for my soon to be addon 4K CAMS RLC-810A to function (total of 11 cams). I will be adding 2 to my clan of 4K cams. However, per your advertisement, why does it only allow a max of 8TB for the RLN16-410, while the new RLN8-410 NVR allows up to 12TB? I want to make sure that I am purchasing the latest NVR which supports the Person/Vehicle Detection feature. I think the ones on Amazon are old.
Definitely looking forward to this new camera
I think so, where you have your bridge router, I have my TP-Link 8 Port Gigabit PoE Switch 8 PoE+, and 3 cams are coming from the switch with no issues while I have 6 cams coming from the NVR.
thanks those codes come in handy
I use both a POE+ Switch connected from my router for 3 cams, and my NVR connected to 6 cams..using a separate Ethernet line...they all show up on my TV screen with no problem because they are all on the same network. Due to the construction of my crazy house, I could not connect them all without tearing up the roof in 3 tight spots. I also opted to set up my cams using Static vs DHCP for more stability.
with a POE+ switch...I am able to see all my 4K/5MP cams, I can also see all 13 of my wireless cams on my computer using the Windows reolink client. Will be disconnecting the wireless one's soon, the 4K/5MP are awesome!
It wasn't something to report...they were questions for the forum. I found out on my own: it works great
I don't know much about POE switches. I want to add a switch to my network. I only have 3 ethernet outlets in my home, and none of them are in a good location for my NVR access. I have RLK8 coupled with 6-B800s & 2-B400s with 8gb HD. My wifi is 1gb Fios on my home's ethernet setup. I want to connect my NVR cameras through an ethernet switch. I found this one on Amazon Unmanaged TP-Link TL-SG1210P, but I can't find much info on the TL-SG1210P as reviewed by various sites or customers. I even tried You-Tube. I believe it is fairly new, and reviews are scant at the least. All 8-ports are POE+ / 802.3at & 802.3af providing up to 30W per port, total PoE budget 63W. 1. Do you think this system will suffice?2. Is this the right type of Switch for my RLK8/B&D800s3. Does 8-POE+ mean I can view all 8 cameras at the same time? or is the wattage too low (30W per port/63W total)? 4. If the switch is adequate, should I be able to hook up more cameras directly to the back of the NVR? or will I need to switch to the RLK16 using a 16-POE+ switch?Any help is appreciated!
Is this true or is it still H.264?B800/NVR 4K SystemAMAZON: Reolink 4K PoE Security Camera System, 4pcs Wired 8MP Outdoor PoE IP Cameras, H.265 8MP 8-Channel NVR with 2TB HDD Video Surveillance System for 24/7 Recording, RLK8-800B4
