I am very interested in using the web hook feature with my AwareNet product!
Thanks Ron for sharing the info. I was hoping for an improved picture quality with the 8MP (4K) Duo 2. Instead, all those extra pixels are used to increase the FOV. So the result is a wider FOV with basically the same picture quality when you digitally zoom in to see detail of something.Below are photo captures using the iOS Reolink App. The first is the Duo (camera 1 only) configured at the highest resolution. The second is the Duo 2 configured at the highest resolution. When you digitally zoom in on the license plate on top of the orange cone, the clarity for reading the license plate is basically the same for both cameras even though the Duo 2 has twice the pixel count of the Duo. For my neighborhood where the camera is typically mounted 20-30 feet from the street, there is no benefit to the wider FOV. It would be much better to have more detail when zooming in to see a person or vehicle.I do much prefer the user interface/experience for the Duo 2 so I REALLY hope they update the app/firmware for the Duo to seamlessly stitch the two images like they have for the Duo 2.DuoDuo 2
I see you will be releasing a DUO 2 that is 4K resolution with 180 degree FOV.That's nice but I hope you have listened to the feedback and are also providing:
Thanks,Tom
Delivered yesterday (May 23) in USA!
Anyone in US receive their Argus 3 Pro yet?
Thanks for your suggestions!I’ll try a Bluetooth speaker but I’m concerned the short duration will still be an issue.
Can the iOS mobile app handle 100 or more cameras? Is there a way to organize them in groups or, even better, in a "tree" / hierarchy? If not, please forward the request to the software team.
Thanks Sally. It seems like it would be a pretty easy feature them to add.
I really, really need a way to configure my person-detection cameras with a smartphone alert that will be loud enough and long enough to wake me up at night. I need to know immediately, not later in the morning, that someone is messing with my stuff. Please offer ideas how to do this (RLC-810A) or add a feature to do it.
I capture license plates of moving vehicles, day and night, with the $280 Amcrest IP8M-2454EW camera. If we had access to the right settings (e.g. shutter speed) we could probably do it with comparable Reolink cameras. FF32F2AC-CA05-46A8-B640-7ABD5850DEFA.jpg
Years ago there was a way to add profile information that would display at the bottom of each post. This information still shows on my new posts but I can no longer find any way to edit or delete the profile information. Please point me to where I can change this info or just delete it for me.The info I'm referring to is this:RLC-411WS x 1C1-PRO x 2RLC-422W x 2
I had the exact same issue on two cameras. Here is a link to the fix that worked for me. https://reolink.com/topic/overexposed-image-unable-to-see-anything-during-the/#post-1374996
I had the exact same issue with an RLC-810A and RLC-1220A. I resolved this issue with the RLC-810A a few days ago. I tried various adjustments to Exposure, Backlight and 3D DNR. Nothing worked. About to give up, I decided to try less likely settings. I changed “Anti-flicker” from Auto to 50HZ. Bingo! Exposure problem fixed. Why? I don’t know. I set it to 60HZ, still looked good. I set it back to Auto, still looked good. To confirm this “fix”, I went to my RLC-1220A which had the same over-exposure issue. I confirmed the picture was still over-exposed and then changed “Anti-flicker” from Auto to 50HZ. The issue fixed again. See before/after photos below for both cameras. There must be a bug in the software / firmware. See before and after photos attached.EB5E87AE-5E0E-496D-AD2A-C985F18EA783.jpeg881611D7-3CBE-410B-9A04-9066D0A5A50F.jpeg
Would REALLY like a dome version to upgrade/replace my 6 RLC-422W.
Would like a GO PT with 10x optical zoom, please.Thank you.
I intend to buy 3 or 4 RLC-422 cameras but not until the brackets are available.Do you have an estimated date when they will be in stock again?
I have the current Reolink cameras inside the house and in the alley out back.I want the 12x zoom for the street in front so if I find one I like I may just go with no Reolink in front and use the separate apps without integration. But I'd rather use all Reolink if I could.
Hi Reolink,I would like to see you offer optical zoom of 12x or greater for your outdoor dome, bullet and PTZ cameras.Unfortunately I must buy elsewhere because your current 4x optical zoom is not enough.Regards,Tom
+1
This issue was resolved by the camera firmware update.
