@joseph_1979 I tried that but in comparison with older firmware which I got full bar the new one which I got a single bar. Also, the color of the new one the scene is much darker even raising the brightness. The older firmware people passing have a better visibility while new one has dark visibility.
Is this version 2? The first gen was wifi 5?
@joseph_1979 they fixed most of the issue except the wifi signal was weak and the color was not on par with old firmware.
@joseph_1979 one of the image on the shadow look familiar like duo 3.
@reolink-daisy give us trackmix wifi in color x and I will replace my existing camera. E1 outdoor in 4K with color x and wifi.
@reolink-daisy I believe all Reolink being release going forward should come with color x as standard feature.
@reolink-daisy will they release a e1 outdoor cx in 4K?
I just installed new e1 outdoor cx. The stock firmware I get full signal bar. After I update to the latest version signal went down to 1 bar (dot). This is the same experienced I had on trackmix wifi with the latest version giving us 1 signal bar. Reolink need to check their firmware because the stock has much better signal than the one posted online. There no way I can return to previous firmware as it was not posted previous firmware.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 I stick on last November firmware. I don’t see any benefits using the latest version not that I can see as feature set. WiFi signal on November I get maximum signal along with the correct color and fps. Based on my observations, every new release of firmware is just going backward by having new set of issue. Their software specialist is their weakest link.
@reolink-daisy Are they going to release this version in non battery powered?
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 Many company can provide superior hardware but fall behind on software. Superior hardware will not be any better if firmware is not well written. I rather see ok quality hardware but superior software. This is the problem on many company giving consumers top notch hardware but lack in skill on software. To me, software need to be superior before hardware can give its maximum performance.
@mamymam2013_465350299701478 The new firmware fixes many of the issue including color and returned higher fps of 25. What is not fix was wifi, I’m only getting 1 bar. I don’t know what this new firmware bring to the table but I don’t see new features. I think it’s best to use from last year firmware as it has no issue and in comparison to new firmware it doesn’t bring anything new in the setting that matters to most users.
@joseph_1979 did you see a new line of trackmix? It doesn’t look like there’s a new one.
@joseph_1979 if it’s trackmix CX with improved resolution and zoom, I’m buying it as soon it gets available.
@joseph_1979 I tried the new firmware. Everything looks fine except the wifi signal did not improve. I’m still getting one bar. Color has been improved.
@reolink-daisy what happen to this update? They no longer showing on website.
@joseph_1979 I just went back from last year firmware as it bring back the missing feature 8k bitrate and 25fps as well as correct color and signal.
Trackmix firmware update disappear from website.
@techgirl_849769519804666 did you set everything default upon updating?
I was informed that the new firmware was more natural than previous firmware where they think the previous was over saturated and made a correction. I guess wash out is the new normal going forward of future firmware for this device.
