It's the end of the week and still no firmware.
I would be interested in email and FTP snapshot capability at scheduled intervals.
So there's no way to have the camera just email you a snapshot on a scheduled basis?
It's now been 2 months since I reported this issue. When can I expect updated firmware to be available?
Thanks for this...I was just about to start buying these cameras, but won't now due to this roaming limitation. I hope this gets resolved soon.
Reolink: Are you working with Blue Iris to try and figure out what the issue is here? Bugs? Setting changes? What needs to happen here to get this resolved?
Why is this model no longer available on Amazon?
I tried configuring email snapshots. I get the test email, but not the snapshot emails. Is this feature broken?
Please support additional Dynamic DNS providers. Dynamic DNS now charges $40/year. 3322.org isn't for the US market. Please support www.duckdns.org, a free and reliable dynamic DNS service.
I am having the same problem with my Reolink cameras and BlueIris. I am not having this problem with my 3MP HIKVision cameras. I have dropped the data rate down to 4096 which helped very little.I have a Core I7 4790K with 2 gig ports trunked to a Cisco switch. I don't have a bandwidth problem.
Ask your email provider.
How do I send the BI configuration? Just screen shots?
Hello? When can we expect new firmware with the snapshot issue resolved? These cameras are useless to me until this problem is fixed!
When I view my Reolink cameras with the Camera's built in webserver streaming video, I get nice crystal clear images. When I use the CGI Snapshot, I get images that are darker and slightly grainy. When I use Blue Iris, I get grainy images that become ugly and horrible when the window is made small, such as using the all cameras view. My old 640x480 Foscam cameras have much better looking images in Blue Iris than my HiRed Reolink cameras. What can be done to improve the quality when using other viewing methods than the built in webserver?
Awesome! When will the fix be available?
It would at least be nice if you could release the CGI info so I could at least reboot once an hour until this resolved.
I am using the 1168_16070800 on the 420. I did update the configuration file when updated (you need to come up with a way to NOT do that on upgrades, that's not very consumer friendly).I have not updated the firmware on the 422 as the other issues with the new firmware are worse. The 410 is running 16041900. -< this is the only one where the snapshot isn't failing. The 422 is running 16041904.
It's interesting to note that my RLC-410 which has been running for several weeks, does NOT have this problem. But my RLC-420 and RLC-422 develop the problem after only a couple of hours.I am using wget and getting about 12 images per minutes.
Thanks, that worked. 4 Updated cameras and now I have the CGI URL working for snapshots on my security dashboard tablets in my house.
What app are you using for your tablets to do this?
I updated to the 1168_16070800 on my RLC-420. It's having the same problem still. The snapshot feature works for a few hours, then starts returning a 0 length file. I must reboot the camera to get it to work again. And then, it works for a few hours, then stops working.I have also noticed now with this new firwware when the snapshot breaks, I can also no longer log in via the web page. After entering the user/password, it comes up with a big "login failed. Can not access device".I was able to log in using the Windows REOLINK client with the same uid/password to reboot the camera.
