Hello,I have installed the 1168_16070800 on my RLC-420. It's having the same problem still. The snapshot feature works for a few hours, then starts returning a 0 length file. I must reboot the camera to get it to work again. And then, it works for a few hours, then stops working.
Tucking it into something works great, if you have something to tuck it into! If you're mounting on light poles or the middle of a structure, that doesn't work. Also doesn't work for commercial installations. You'll be expected to do a professional install where the wires are in conduit. So you just have a box at the end of the conduit, mount the camera to the box cover, drill hole in cover for the wire, then seal with silicon.
Disappointed in the lack of response here. My RLC-420 is now doing something similiar. After a few days of working, the snap.cgi starts returning a zero length file. You have a stability issue here that needs addressing I think.
Reolink responded to me in my thread the other day that it's not possible with the current hardware to turn the LEDs off through software.
Is there a documented list of available cgi-bin functions, such as the snapshot?I would like to be able to:reboot the cameraturn LEDs on/offcontrol PTZset indoor/outdooretc.FOSCAM has a rich set of CGI-bin controls, hoping REOLINK does as well.
That process won't last very long. I buy a 4x4x2 outdoor grey PVC electrical boxes, cut holes in one side to run the wires in and out, then mount the box so the holes are on the bottom.I wish REOLINK would come up with a better way to do this. They came up with a way to waterproof the RJ45, but that leaves the reset switch and power jack left unprotected, even if you don't use them.
Yes, that's what I'm doing, and it only works for a few hours before it breaks and I have to reboot the camera to get it working again.
Hello,I have an RLC-422 where I use the HTTP URL to get a JPEG snapshot every 10 seconds. After doing this for several hours, the snapshot feature stops working. It just returns<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?><ResponseStatus version="1.1"> <statusCode>400</statusCode> <statusString>FAILED</statusString>instead of a jpeg. If I reboot the camera, it starts working again. The live video via web page still works fine, as does video from Blue Iris, so it's limited to the snapshot function.I am using the same version of firmware that's on your website.I am doing the same thing with an RLC-420 and RLC-411 with no issues.Any idea what's going on?Thankyou.
