Hello,
I need help with this Reolink RLC-822A camera. The camera is detected and added to the Reolink client app but the video is very blurry. I upgraded it to the latest firmware (v3.1) and changing the display/stream settings around but nothing seems to work. I set both auto-focus on and off but no help. Is this camera defected or is there a setting I can change? See picture below. I can send diagnostic log and additional info if needed. Thanks.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@ttran_519495326584985 Can you try to take the camera to another position and turn off the auto-focus. If it can't help, you can submit a request here, Submit a request – Reolink Support.

@reolink-fiona
It still doesn't help. I tried it all the settings in different locations, different lighting with auto-focus and/or infrared on/off.
Thanks,
T.

I had this occur with two new RLC-822As. The problems seem to be extremely poor or non-functioning autofocus. Zooming in and several times (which we shouldn't need to do) seemed to fix the problem. It seems the camera needs a firmware update to prevent this problem.

@campbell_99 I installed a new RLC-822A a week ago and also noticed that the autofocus is not working. I have to adjust the focus manually, but can only do that by day when the image is bright enough to see what's in focus. So the only advice I can give is: set up the camera once and tell everyone that has access to it not to touch the PTZ anymore.

@pierre-gielen_288801745879289 @fiona_270938327945410 There seems to be a flaw or quality control problem with some of the RLC-822As as we need to do this to fix the blurriness.
