The person detection on at least the RLC-510A seems quite good.
It would be great to also be able to detect pets (specifically, large dogs in my use case!). This should be a separate mode to the existing two: i.e. dogs/cats, person, vehicle.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

My RLC-1210A has Pet Detection but this model has been discontinued.
My experience of Pet Detection has been good. I use the camera to monitor a bird table during the night in case any rats decide to visit. Pet Detection always alerts me and ignores everything else.
I don't know if any current Reolink cameras have this feature. The only one I'm aware of is the 1210A. -
@reolink-fiona I used to have pet detection beta on my 510a cameras, It worked well (with beta firmware that was sent to me) is it possible to get it working again on the 510a?

@saarklein_376597875945681 It may come in the future but it is not available with the current firmware. We are still testing the pet detection.

The A series cameras have pet detection and it works great. I have a few RLC-811A’s and a RLC-820A. Just make sure you are on the latest firmware.

@dpeters
Is their Pet Detection still labelled as 'Beta'?
It is on the 1210A.
-
Yes, listed as beta but it works great.

An artificial intelligence component called pet detection is either built into the security camera or is available for a monthly fee. geometry dash unblocked

Camera function. No subscription is required. -
@user_625165138997343_625165138997343 It can be both but Reolink opted to be part of the camera's firmware......subsequently no subscription.
