Hi all,Our new Floodlight PoE/Wifi, a motion-activated security floodlight that can work with cameras, is coming soon! It will be on pre-ordered on October 3rd in US/EU.To let you know more about the floodlight and help you better understand it, I would like to show you some tips about APP UI and settings, how to work with IPC/NVR, and more.
(PS: The final APP UI/settings may be changed.)After adding the Floodlight to the IoT page, the home page and the settings will be like as below.
You can adjust the brightness of the floodlight as you like. The siren will only work when you connect the camera to the floodlight. The siren volume and type can be adjusted in “Audio” Settings too. You can set alarms with your own voice for different scenarios.
There are three light modes of the floodlight.
If you link the cameras to the floodlight, when the camera detects the motions, the floodlight or the siren will be triggered according to the "If, then" rule that you set.You can connect up to 8 cameras to the floodlight and set up up to 64 rules to trigger the actions of the floodlight. "If, then" rules: If the camera detects motions/person/vehicle/pet at xxxx(time), the floodlight/siren will action.
Reolink Duo 2 PoE/WiFi, Reolink TrackMix PoE/WiFi, Reolink Duo Floodlight PoE/WiFi, Doorbell POE/WIFI, etc.(Other AI PoE/Wifi wired cameras and new upcoming devices are in the plan.) The floodlight can be linked with the cameras in LAN. If the floodlight or the cameras are under the NVR, the camera can’t link to the floodlight. If the camera is under the NVR, the NVR can connect these two devices and the floodlight will have actions when the cameras detect motions.
To control the floodlight with the NVR, you can connect the floodlight to a certain channel that already has a connected camera. Then if the camera detects motions, the NVR will trigger the floodlight actions. This will not be realized by the "linked devices" settings of the floodlight but controlled by the NVR.The cameras don’t need to support the floodlight, as long as the NVR’s firmware supports the floodlight, the floodlight can be triggered when the camera detects motions. So you can also change the cameras on that channels and the floodlight will still work. (The firmware is still under development.)Supported NVR hardware versions:N2MB02, N3MB01, H3MB18, N5MB01, , N6MB01, N7MB01You can know more details or subscribe to the floodlight here, https://bit.ly/3StvVIc.
